Three were sent for testing to the western front but were rejected as not being suitable because of being underpowered. Palmed off to the Russians who upgraded the engines they proved quite successful in their war. Reminds me of the P39 in WWII, very popular in Russia (they loved the tricycle landing gear and its low level performance) but relegated to Pacific backwaters in US service.
