I don't know if this goes well here but I found it interesting to share... This mobile sim now looks great, it radically changed its graphics which looked like a late 90's sim, it has very detailed models, good rendering and quite realistic terrain, I expect the on-screen controls to be more discreet than previous versions, because the excessive coloring took away from the immersion. In addition, many things can be done that unfortunately the engine of our beloved SF2 does not allow, and this project also promises a future vr version.

I want to see it in action, I don't know what you think, if you like it I'll share the link to support the developer on kickstarter

GUNSHIP IV PROYECT KICKSTARTER

This has always been a promising sim for tablets with steady improvements. But I don't really play sims on tablets or phones. Since these are able to run on phones/tablets, they should be targeting Quest 2 VR. I already have WWI and WW2 VR sims which are somewhere between arcade action and a lite sim. If Gunship IV could be adapted to the Quest 2, it would rule: a VR equivalent to the Strike Fighters series.

When I look at the video and think it's a mobile phone game. I exclaim: wow! So cool. And then I ask myself a question. For example, this game is for PC. Will I play? Will i play it  on  Playstation? Definitely not. The game is similar to the PlayStation game Ace Combat 04 Shattered Skies. The game from the far past.  I dont say that that game was bad. I played it and got fun but that was ceturies ago. Now I am convinced that it is not worth buying for a mobile phone, and even trying any games other than Funny Farm, Solitaire and Tetris. This game for me is to simple to play it at home and to complicated to play it in in Supermarket in the row to cass. And too poor environment. My personal opinion. It may not be correct. Thank you for the video anyway.

PS Hahaha, nostalgia kicked in! I will play tomorrow  in Ace Combat

Personally, I give the opportunity to projects that continue to keep combat simulation alive (hard or lighter)... be it on PC or other platforms, instead what kills my passion are the arcade "sims"... and when i say arcade i mean anything that leads to infinite shooter and defies physics and logic... to pass the time shooting like crazy i prefer a machine or an emulator with classic arcade games

Haha, I will play it soon on my new PC as well. The PS2 series of Ace Combat games is old but timeless. If I want fun and feelings, that's the obvious choice.

looks like Android gaming is taking over pc gaming

soon DCS world alike sims will also come to mobile

oh ! i think thirdwire is also thinking about launching the complete featured Strike fighters 2 series on Android devices on 1.5 or 2.0GB download size thats would be cool no more ram cpu or graphic card issue

just buy a 8gb/128gb phone and fly anything :good::stars:

I truly hope no-one is throwing money at this Kickstarter project. It screams "scam" all over the place. Their Discord server is a comedy show and users started to figure out what a scam this is. The 3d models being shown were actually bought instead of being modelled by these so called developers. They made exaggerated claims, saying the game will change mobile gaming forever, having VR and carrier ops more complex than DCS. No real gameplay shown, no take-offs, no landings, no air-refueling, no weapons employment, nothing serious... Just renderings of various 3d models and cockpits. Explain me what Desert Storm has to do with renderings of an F-35 cockpit, among other things. They don't seem to have a clear idea of the complexity they promise to deliver.

Simply put, save your dear money and stay away from this.

Except he isn't. I'm afraid some people don't recognize it for what it is. That is no interactive cockpit if you ask me. It's interactive when it works properly in-game and all the counters and other bits reflect the in-game physics. And the A-10 cockpit? I've heard he's done it many years ago, nothing fresh and original to the table.

The ones making something very big are the Falcon BMS guys. And all for free, without deceiving people with a Kickstarter showing 3d models and renders took from other authors and sites. I'm happy for Phanotek, they made 10k rather quickly. TK should probably learn from them on this regard. I'm just glad I'm not wasting money on it. Those who do, well, happy for them.
