Nightshade/PR Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 You both make good distractions while the rest of us Attack Pilots get on with the dirty work....... 4 Quote

+daddyairplanes Posted December 11, 2023 Author Posted December 11, 2023 got these safety stencils dialed in a bit better. not a ravenclaw level of detail, but placements down better Quote

+daddyairplanes Posted December 30, 2023 Author Posted December 30, 2023 done with Mud Hens four more aircraft types until these two wings are done (not counting two seaters). guess which one is next (bonus points if you guess the block) 2 Quote
Nightshade/PR Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 I'm going to take a flier on one of my favorite assignments, and go with the WolfPack; 35th & 80th Squadrons, flying C's & D's, Block 40. 1 Quote
+daddyairplanes Posted December 30, 2023 Author Posted December 30, 2023 not next but in the pipeline A/B models are in the pipeline i had to double check, i did these already 3 Quote
Nightshade/PR Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 Hmmmm.... Then lets try the SCANG Swamp Foxes: 157th & 316th, flying C's & D's, Block 52. 1 Quote
+daddyairplanes Posted December 30, 2023 Author Posted December 30, 2023 gettin warmer Block 52s are on the agenda but not Swamp Foxes Quote
Nightshade/PR Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 My next guess would be Misawa, or do you mean the Greeks? Quote
+daddyairplanes Posted December 30, 2023 Author Posted December 30, 2023 (edited) Misawa had 52's? legit question, i thought they got 50s when they became the 35th FW..... really you need to try harder Kojak . think about the multi jet type/big jet posts of the last couple months. one wing keeps popping up across 4 airframes now (soon to be 5) all the other units have been side quests of this main one Edited December 30, 2023 by daddyairplanes Quote
Nightshade/PR Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 Certainly you don't mean that bunch of Hooch Runners in North Cakalaky at Pope??????? Quote
+daddyairplanes Posted December 30, 2023 Author Posted December 30, 2023 ok now i think youre just screwin with me besides, the fine folks in Alcoholics Anonymus (down the street from me on Smoke Bomb Hill) liked their company. Quote
Nightshade/PR Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 I'm running out of bases. If not Pope, all I have is Luke, Eglin, or just maybe Hill. It been a few days since I retired, and I haven't kept up with all the rearranging going on. I know it's not SpangQuentin, Linestein, Kunsan or Osan. But in my own defense, most of my career was spent around F-4's, F-15's & B-52's. Korea was the only time I was involved with F-16's on a daily basis, other than when Hahn & TJ deployed to Turkey when I was assigned there. Quote
+allenjb42 Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 Is it the 389th FS flying F-16Cs from Mountain Home? It looks like you're working up towards this screenshot: 1 Quote
Nightshade/PR Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 And here I was thinking that Mt. Home flew 15's only, along with the heavies....... 1 Quote
+daddyairplanes Posted December 31, 2023 Author Posted December 31, 2023 Allen wins it a Fighter Wing campaign would be nice too but....... Ron, yes they flew Vipers too. Block 52s and a Weasel role from mid 94 until 2006 (or 07?) when the 389th went to Mud Hens from late 1992 until summer of 94, they had a light attack role, and any SEAD was either gonna be Maverick, CBU or pre loaded HARMs (set against specific freqs not able to pick targets like F-4G or Block 50/52) 1 Quote
