BAC Strikemaster Mk. 80/81/82/83/88

BAC Strikemaster Mk. 80/81/82/83/88

The Strikemaster is essentially an armed version of the Jet Provost T Mk 5. Various improvements and alterations were made to the aircraft, including an uprated Armstrong Siddeley Viper turbojet engine, wing hardpoints capable of carrying a wide variety of munitions, a pair of machine guns under the intakes, uprated flap system with two jacks, enlarged airbrake jacks, new communication and navigation gear, different electrical system, canopy breakers on the ejection seats, and a revised fuel system including tip tanks on the wing tips.
First flown in 1967, the aircraft was typically marketed as a light attack or counter-insurgency aircraft, however, the majority of customers were air forces seeking an advanced trainer. The Strikemaster did see combat on multiple occasions in the service of Ecuador, Oman and Yemen. A total of 146 aircraft were produced prior to the end of production in 1983. The type remaining flying into the 2020s, albeit with increasing difficulty due to a decreasing supply of spare parts over time.

WHAT'S IN:

- Strikemaster Mk80    Saudi Arabia     (47 planes)        3 skins
- Strikemaster Mk81    South Yemen    (  4 planes)        1 skin
- Strikemaster Mk82    Oman                 (25 planes)        2 skins
- Strikemaster Mk83    Kuwait                (12 planes)        1 skin
- Strikemaster Mk88    New Zealand     (16 planes)        2 skins

CREDITS:

- russouk2004: original model
- pappychksix: all skins
- paulopanz: decals, hangars, screens, drop tanks paint, skins little editings, ini dance, packaging etc etc.

TO INSTALL:

- put all in your main mod folder and overwrite

NOTE:

TW simulations allow us to add proper historical serials, numbers, letters and nose arts to each plane.
Best models with serials, numbers and letters painted on textures for me are a real waste. All planes (as black cats at night ...) are the same ...

So our friend Pete allowed me to make decals (I have a real decals factory yet ...) for his great skins and this is the final product.
I think that outstanding Russo's plane really needed this work to shine.

I hope you like this pack, as I liked to buid this up.

If Pete will skin Mk84, Mk89 and Mk90 (with his own super templates) too I'll be glad to add them.
If someone'll tweak a better flight model I'll add too.
Any improve'll be welcome.
Aren't we a community?

Enjoy!

So really I can't and want not undestand you and your rude and unworthy words.

@paulopanz, I think @Sundowner took it that way because you described aircraft with painted serial numbers as a real waste. His latest releases are exactly aircraft with painted serial numbers. Probably you weren't aware of this, I haven't seen you around in a while.

@Sundowner I understand you probably got hurt by such post, but please give the benefit of doubt before throwing rude accusations, and rather ask explanations to statements you don't agree with.

I hope this was just a misunderstanding, you both have contributed to the community in different ways, we don't need another conflict. The package was approved by another moderator and I don't see anything wrong with it, all authors are fully credited.

The statement by paulopanz about other aircraft mods could be removed as it is not pertinent, or be worded differently if it was explaining that the Strikemaster skins were made by Pete with painted serials and that he gave permission to paulopanz to rework them with decals.
