  1. They are being worked on, progress is slow...lots of other projects happening. FC
  2. Okay fellas, I think this thread has run it's course... FC
  3. The knowledge base has detailed information on how to make a SF2 aircraft flyable in SFP1/WOx: http://forum.combatace.com/topic/43234-how-to-make-a-sf2-aircraftweapon-useable-in-gen-1-thirdwire-sims/ When possible, try to look in the knowledge base if you can't find something with a search...sometimes the search engine isn't too smart. FC
  4. Well, it's actually smaller than the MOAB (GBU-43) by about 10 feet, but weighs 5 tons MORE! Also, the MOAB has 18700 pounds of explosive, but this new weapon only has roughly 6000 lbs. This thing must be damn near all steel and lead! A very specific weapon...not much boom, but a whole lot of drillin! Plus, being shorter, allows it to fit in the bay where a AGM-86 cruise missile sits now. FC
  5. SF2E is an upgrade only in the sense that Windows XP is an upgrade from Windows 98. There is no patch that will upgrade WOE to SF2E. FC
  6. Could have been this...especially if it was the weekend: FC
  7. Congrats! Say goodbye to any spare time you have...but you'll be happy about it! FC
  8. You NEED to check that's it's using TCB for an animation...you didn't say if you confirmed that it's using TCB. I've seen that cause problems. Also, like bobrock said, disable the shock animation in the data.ini to see if you need to change that value. FC
  9. Also, how does the gear animation look in the air...normal? If the animation looks odd, check to see which animation controller you used...anything other than TCB won't work right. FC
  10. Also, for those who may think this is cool... Realize something...the folks on the road aren't part of this stunt...they're merely your average joes going about their business when an aircraft at their altitude either goes right by, or appears to be coming head on. Think about the average driver's reaction to this if they get surprised, and cause an accident, or God forbid, someone gets hurt. You can't answer the mail if that happens. I have no problem with going low and fast, been there, done that...hell, done it in the middle of the night at 400 feet in the mountains at near sonic speeds. But, it's planned out, I've been trained for it, and most importantly, I don't deliberately endanger others. Or think about this in one other way...do you want this guy to be flying you around? It isn't about ability, it's about good judgment...which this guy was seriously lacking. FC
  11. So, lets count the many different ways this was a dumbass stunt. Lets hope this was the last flight this guy had because he was about to die of a horrible disease. All it takes is ONE person to note the tail number, date and time, and that's it. Let me be clear, the punishment for this incident STARTS at getting your pilot license pulled and it goes rapidly downhill from there. FC
  12. Heh, I wish. Though there is a MAX model of a Bone pit out there. I've played with it. The problem is the same one I faced when I made the T-38 pit which I later scrapped. The issue is one of having first hand knowledge of EXACTLY how the cockpit really works...combine that with an obsessive/compulsive personality and you can see the problem. Sometimes, there is such a thing as having too much knowledge! FC
  13. Well, it's like anything else...the last 10 percent of the stuff remaining takes 90 percent of the time. FM is at the 'tweak' stage, data.ini entries need refinement, a real skin and decals are needed. It's been slow adding stuff to incorporate an operational version of the B-70 (ECM bumps, operational aux intake doors, ground equipment, reshaped canard, etc). The hardest thing right now is cockpit integration...the F-111 cockpit, though it looks right, is too small, the BUFF cockpit is too big. What it really could use is a B-1 cockpit...the B-70 and B-1 cockpits had very similar layouts and dimensions (makes sense, both were made by North American/Rockwell). FC
  14. AV/3 and Skybolt testing. FC
  15. "For the alert force, for the alert force, klaxon, klaxon, klaxon. Message follows...." FC
  16. Looks like you got that tail rotor working. FC
  17. Delete (or better yet, move) the GUNDATA.DAT and GUNDATA.INI files. Assuming you have the proper directories in your objects folder, that should restore your guns. Guns now work the same way as weapons, so you shouldn't be using the Gundata editor anyway. FC
  18. Yes, this is a real gravestone: If you're having trouble seeing it, put the first letter of each line into a sentence. FC
  19. As a ethnic Korean, I probably echo your sentiments there Spectre. FC
  20. Care to provide a source on that? I haven't seen that anywhere in official documents. FC
  21. That's one thing I wish civilian pilots could get more often is altitude chamber testing...so you can recognize your own hypoxia symptoms. Condolences to his family. FC
  22. Congrats...now the hard part starts! :) FC
