  6. I held out hope for Bionic Woman, considering it was being done by one half of the BSG team - David Eick. I'm with JM on this one...it just seemed kind of bland. I don't know what they could have done to 'hook' me, but it wasn't there. Now, a series that I thought was a bad idea at first blush - Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles - has got my wife and I watching every week. It rocks! FastCargo

  10. I'm assuming by 'not showing up in inventory' you mean it doesn't show up in the master list on the left. Usually that means 3 things: 1. Wrong year. 2. Wrong Attachment Type (country) 3. Wrong mission (ie certain A/A missiles won't show on a A/G missions and vice versa). Try checking that for a start. FastCargo

  12. That's what guys aren't sure about. Some guys have been wondering if aircraft destroyed on the ground during a campaign were part of that airfield's 'stocks'. If so, that would mark a major addition to the campaign engine...affecting the airwar by destroying the A/C on the ground. Would make a 1967 six day war campaign that much more effective...though kind of boring gameplay-wise because most of the air to air action wouldn't exist. Also, I consider a scramble not just for airfield defense, but for evac...trying to save as many assets as possible. So I could see heavys getting launched to try to get out of the area... FastCargo
  13. Well, a lot of them have been said in the offical WOI thread...but in part: 1. AI is more aggressive and skillful (friendly and advesary). 2. Shadows can now be enabled for ALL aircraft...no shadow file needed (can be a frame rate killer though). 3. Additional information can now be put in aircraft and weapon FMs, including post stall behaviors...the sim will assign 'generic' values for aircraft that do not have these additional parameters. 4. Ground radar has been fixed. 5. Airfields now are 'populated' with aircraft that can be targeted...there is evidence of a 'scramble' function when airfields get attacked. FastCargo

  16. Now, before anyone says anything, I'm not condoning or condemning anyones particular belief system. I just wanted to point out something I saw today. We were flying back from Midland airport (visited the CAF muesum...some nice additions since I was there last) at about 3000 feet, passing south of San Angelo. We had the old Pave Paws installation in sight and were steering south when we saw this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/YFZ_Ranch The 'main building' if you want to call it that was huge! That's why it stood out from all the scrub in that area and caught our attention. We ended up circling around it once (stayed some distance away so we didn't alarm the 'black helocopter' crowd). The compound in general is huge...I wish I had my camera. I've flown over actual towns that were physically smaller... Anyway, to get an idea of what I was looking at: http://web.sccn2.net/flds/01-25-06.htm Again, not making a judgement on their beliefs, just pointing out that it was unusual to see...and very distinctive. Okay, the new lines I've noticed so far: SubsonicDragCoeff= (Self Explanatory) SupersonicDragCoeff= (Self Explanatory) SpecificStationCode= (Don't know what that is) CEP= (Circle Error Probable, only time I've seen this applied is for nuke missiles - basically INS missiles but unguided warheads...hmmmm) MinFreq= (For ECM Pods...I wonder what the unit is?) MaxFreq= (For ECM Pods...I wonder what the unit is?) Very interesting...esp the Freq range number. Pretty detailed for a 'lite' sim... FastCargo
