I'm glad do you like it! It has been a lot of work (well, in fact, the REAL work start in the 1917 and 1918 campaigns, much more units). Be patient. Fokker EIII arrives in October! (no EII in campaign as is nearly equal to EIII and came to the front same time and no Peter01 FM for the EII). The main problem playing German is you being otnumbered the entire war. At least the two seaters come without escort in 1915! PS: If you don't like Moranes against your EI, wait for 1916.....Your EIII (or worst, your Pfalz EI) against Nieuport 11, DH2, FE2, Bristol Scout D... I'm having a blast too. I'm flying in 1 Squadron RNAS in the underpowered but nice Nieuport 10. Good luck and check your six!

Good concert (Queen was one of the best acts ever), but I like muuuuuuch more their earlier stuff. Kill me if you want, but after Live killers, some of their works were average at best (some of them plain bad). In the 80's they were vastly over-rated. By the way, the Montreal concert was better than this one (that it's still very good)

Errrr.....I don't know about that. My install is so modded that I don't know what is stock or not anymore..... Maybe the pilot comes in one plane.... About new planes, it's true, some of them are old models and are showing their age. Nevetheless, a good skin can do the work by now (look at gambit168 and other people skins made for Bort's Albatros, they are a great improvement). And of course, I'm very grateful to all modders work. We have a lot of free planes made in their free time. Skunkworks has a better model of the Halberstadt (yes, a DIII, but the difference between a DII and a DIII are in the different engines, and both of them are 120Hp, so I'm using the Skunkworks one). The main problem is the lack of two seaters. I'd wait to redone planes that we have now, at least until we have FK8, DH9, Dorand, Farman F40, Caudron G4, Albatros later C series, Aviatik B, Rumplers, LVGs, AEGs, etc. Nevertheless, If someone want to rebuild an old plane I can adapt the FM easily from the Peter01 ones.

Armchair aces 1916 View File This is the second chapter of the series, covering 1916 ops. About 120 missions per pilot. You can fly as a Belgian pilot too. You'll need to have Armchair aces 1915 installed Submitter ojcar Submitted 03/02/2012 Category First Eagles - WWI and Early Years - Missions and Campaigns

The second chapter of the Armchair aces series is uploaded and waiting for approval. Fly more than 120 missions per pilot in 1916! Fly as a Belgian pilot! All squadrons flyable! Hunt Zeppelins over Verdun!

I don't know really, but you have an Stirling in the SF2I 1948 and Suez add on. I can catch it in my Avia, so it could be a good start for your B-29. Also syou coultd compare the B-29 FM with the Tu-4 one . I don't know if it's the same, but if if proves different (and better), you can change the weapons only! I don't remember very well my B-29 edits, but changing the CruiseSpeed, ClimbSpeed, MaxSpeedSL and MachLimit could maybe do the trick.
-
This is the reason for the [FlightControl] section in the Data.ini Changing this affects mainly how the AI fly the plane and dosen't affect the human flight very much. I have porked my B-29s this way time ago (in my veeeery old SF1 Korea install, that I don't have anymore), and I was perfectly capable of catching the B-29s.

Sorry for the late answer! I was at work. Here it's the Readme for those with format problems. Armchair aces 1915 is also updated with it ReadMe.txt

Armchair aces 1915 View File From the Readme and installation notes: Welcome WWI buffs! This is the first chapter in a series covering the (mostly) complete air war in Western Front in WWI. Next chapters coming in the standard two weeks! The entire war is divided in mini-campaigns of a month-10 missions. I'm using the two stock maps plus the Vogesen map. This first chapter starts in August 1915, so until end of 1915 you'll have 50 missions per pilot! (and be in mind this is the shortest chapter) The beauty of this approach is that you can follow your fav unit throught all maps, or you can simulate unit transfers for your pilot. You can start as a two seater pilot (as most Germans did), and then be "transferred" to a fighter unit. You can start as a RNAS pilot, and be in the RAF at the proper time, you can start in Escadrille 124 (the La Fayette escadrille) in French Army and end the war ir a USAS unit......A lot of possibilities. This mod is intended for FE2, because in 1917 and 1918 you'll need the different Albatros, Strutters, SPADS et al with different engines that FE2 has. FE1 pilots will need to edit the campaigns to fly them, for example changing the name of the planes like AlbatrosD5_180 to AlbatrosD5....Please, don't ask me for a FE1 version. I'm doing 117 campaigns for the entire series and it's a lot of work!!!! Nevertheless, if someone want to make an FE1 version it has my agreement (if it's free for the people, of course). So, be ready for a downloading fest. Very important!!!! Read the Readme!!!! Submitter ojcar Submitted 02/24/2012 Category First Eagles - WWI and Early Years - Missions and Campaigns

Strange problem - German cross stuck in the wrong era
ojcar replied to 33LIMA's topic in Thirdwire - First Eagles 1&2
The Capitaine Vengeur medals pack is much better than the old one. It has included the RNAS as separated country, new nameslist and more realistic ranks for some countries, new music for the game (the Blue Max theme, Wov!), etc. The Hermann the Hun one is compatible with the Vengeur one. Last week it was a lot of cold here. -7ºC some days near my workplace. This week is much better, but I'm in Madrid. Torremolinos is hotter, still not summer, but if you came from Ireland I think you'll notice the difference! Be happy with the hot girls in the seaside! -

It looks as a Nations.ini problem. Have you a custom one? If so, delete it and problem solved.....O much better, go to the downloads section and install this: WWI Alternative Medals Pack for FE -July 2010 update - by Capitaine Vengeur ,and this: Belgian Medal Pack - by Hermann the Hun, following carefully the instructions. Maybe you'll need both downloads very soon -
View File Fix for dust effect in Stephen1918's infantry (FE2) The dust effect in Stephen1918 infantry is made for FE1 and doesn't work in FE2 using Dx10. So I fixed this issue. To install, put the RunningInfantryEmitter inside your modded Effects folder overwtritting when asked Submitter ojcar Submitted 02/14/2012 Category First Eagles - WWI and Early Years - Object Mods

There is a effect problem in some systems (like mine Win 7 64/FE2/Dx10) and the dust effect doesn't show, but I've figured it out and I'll upload the fix. In fact, the effects packs we have now are for the old FE1 and needs badly an FE2 update.....Stary I'm looking at you. Tried your unified effects pack, but it seems a little over the top for these little planes making those hugue fireballs!!!

Very good! And very useful too :wink2:

Well it's official

Wov!!! I only hope my poor PC could manage this eyecandy withous stutter.... Maybe new GPU time. Do you know one good and cheap? I have one NVIDIA GT230 1536MB (not a very good one, but cheap and useful) -
Very beautiful and very useful too!

Happy birthday, Captain!!! Enjoying a lot your First Eagles medals pack. A must have!
