  8. one word...Bleriot XI two-seater with observer and rifle
  9. don't mix up things - Lighthouse is a LOD with moving parts (like flags and other objects), e.g. programmed into the LOD/3D object - Emitters would be nice and can be done (just an effect without further 'actions' attached to it), e.g. purely visual - Random explosions are not 'random' per se. On the italian map these are two barracks close together with a specific explosion/destruction effect AND inside these two barack objects is a machine-gun firing at the aircraft flying above...the bullets hit the barracks in the first place and destroys them...thus creating an explosion (old IL2 trick)
  10. The tiles are not the problem in terms of feasability. The issue is with the TOD files (amount needed). Creating TOD files is a nightmare..compared to this task it's rather easy to produce a set of nice looking tiles.
  11. ahhh Stachel! Where's your moving scarf? And your Streamers on the struts of your lovely Pfalz?
  12. Thx Geezer - ...and of course I'll have a go at the skin and thx to Geezer's templates I'll be more than happy to fly as 'Stachel' on my PC ...historical correct or not
  13. Now we all know, that Leutnant Stachel in pursuit of the Blue Max is a historical correct story based on true facts with aircraft from the period, flown by former aces and, and, and...well the skin just has to be made and included into the D.IIIa collection (since it was an 'a' model...guns on top instead in the fuselage).
