I am very tempted to throw together a large Royal Navy vs Kriegs Marine Campaign out of this... :D

The more supply a unit has; the more likely it is that it will go into Action. A unit with low supply will not attack very often, nor will it send many aircraft or tanks into the battle. If you want a campaign with many aircraft in the air, supply should be high. Otherwise, low. For Ground Battles; supply should also be high as several attacks will usually drain the supply of the attacking unit.

I do not add DAT Aircraft into my campaigns; not even as text unless I have a very, very good reason. I really do not wish to encourage restricted content.

Do you have SF2: Vietnam? If not; check so that something has not overwritten the .ini files that point to the cockpit.

I want the fight to be balanced; so do not expect the Kiev to show up all that often. The Kiev is not even a proper carrier; as the Soviets called it - Its a "Aviation Cruiser". That said, I do intend to make one with a French Carrier if I can keep the interest up.

Ah, okey. That settles that. I probably will do as I did with the British; a Squadron of A-4Q provides Naval Recon. I also decided to include the Super Etendard for the Argentinians; this to counteract the British Sea Eagle Missiles. Should be done by the end of the day.

Already got the A-4Q via Paulopanz 25deMayo combined pack. Sea Harrier FRS 1 is also avalible in high resolution. My main headache is the Recce A/C for each side now. I do really want Trackers for Argentina. For RN; I have to be a little more clever.

Aight, next one will be the biggest "What If" Carrier Duel in History ;-) Paulopanz has a A-4Q and the Carrier, so all I need now is a S-2F Tracker and a recce A/C for the British Force. Anybody know if the Falklands one can be used for the purpose? Sorry, mate. No Land bases. The point is that the Carriers are to engage with what they got.

Yea, that is one of the more obvious ones and I am looking into it as we speak. I am not however sure what assets are available for public use; I do "All Included" packages.

Hello. If you have not noticed, I have acted upon an old idea dubbed "Carrier Duels". The general idea is that a Carrier - sometimes with a small escort screen and sometimes without - fights off against another Carrier in an attempt to at least try to be balanced. So far, I have done "Nimitz vs Kitty Hawk" and "Norskehavet vs Kiev". Aside from constructive criticism on what I can improve, I would like suggestions to new duels. So, shoot. What do you wish to see?

View File Carrier Duel: KNM Norskehavet vs the Kiev CARRIER DUEL This is a modification pitting the fictional Norwegian Carrier KNM Norskehavet vs Soviet Aviation Crusier Kiev on a sea battlefield. Each Carrier carries their compliment; Kiev a flight of helicopters and Yak-38s; Norskehavet F-11s & S-3As. This is a less intense engagement since neither side really has the firepower to finish the other off and the pace is slower.
