  1. KUKULINO. these are for you. sorry about the small size. As far as I know, they came from Czechoslovakia in operation "Velvet". The black spit was the one flown by the late chief of the IAF and later the president of Israel Eizer Waisman. Cheers.
  2. Wow. That is so sweet.
  3. Nesher, The IDF don't NEED promotional videos like this one. They send you a recruiting order when you get to 17 and from then on, your theres. You said it yourself. The IDF will nail you till 2010, way to go IDF. (kol hakavod le'zahal) This one goes for all of us normal Israelies.
  4. Happy birthday Spitfire. The REAL first Israeli air force fighter.
  5. Its a fine lookin' bird you made there Veltro. A good looking non french fighter. Thanks. How long? I know I know..... Two weeks.
  6. This looks so freakin' awsome! O boy o boy o boy if its ready. It looks so tasty. YUM YUM!!! Thank you all.
  7. Yup, a real good one. <S>
  8. True. you got a point there, but since I am no decision taker, I can only hope that such a platform will be made. Or like somebody here in the forum said. "why not just nuke them and get on with it?"
  9. How about placing the Apache chain gun on the Namer, along with a 8 barrel launcher of the Python5? Judging by the sheer size of this beast I think it can be made. Only a meter of budget. But I think that since Israel don't have a problem of achieving air superiority, such a platform will not be developed here.
  10. If there could only be some of the fabulous architecture items that Greece is famous for. After having said that, thank you for doing this for us.

    Carrier Fire

You can say that again. BTW who can prevent carrier fires, Nesher? In that case I can prevent it too. I do not smoke on carriers. J/K
  12. [quote name=I've noticed the West has really lagged behind the East when it comes to ADA and SAMs. I mean, yes, the Patriot is an awesome system, but what else is there? The Roland, Barak, Hetz, Thor, Oh and the UZI.
  13. Happy birthday.
  14. Right. but here in Israel everything turns to "multi purpose".
  15. since I live not far from Tel-Nof AFB I usually see air activity every day. most of the time it will be F-15 flying over my head shortly after taking off or approach landing. Every now and then I get to see them dogfight each other or against some F-16's. Now, what would you give to see IAF fighters dogfight right over your head?
  16. ROFL. Right depleted. I bet my English is better then your Hebrew. (and you can't even use babel fish to translate Hebrew to English and back. ) I think they may use the "GIL" anti tank missile system on it, and some of them will have the Vulcan turret installed on them.
  17. Whats that?
  18. Because Israel have decided to build a whole new APC to last for a long time. it is actually a whole new platform. We have had enough of modifying old tanks and make them APC's. Basically its riding on the chassis of the MERKAVA MK4 and made from the same materials. I don't know much about it, whether its chobham or deflated uranium or whatever. I know its damn good stuff. Considering the large amount of hits thay have suffered in the 2 Lebanon war, our casualties where kept to minimum. Cheers. hgbn, yes, we are lucky to be on the same side. someday we may draw our swords together.
  19. Aleks everything you will do will be welcomed. Thanks.
  20. Its a good thing we don't have to fight the Vikings.
  21. Yeah. but for this we have that. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=_T-GKplzI0k Enjoy.
  22. Something I am proud of. The new Israeli APC. (armored personal carrier) I just saw it today at the place where I work. This thing is HUGE!!! I mean, I am used to see Merkava MK4 everyday. This thing looks bigger!!! BTW, The name is "NAMER". The biggest APC I have EVER seen. I couldn't help it, I just had to take a pic of it with my cellphone. I hope those pics are good enough.
