  1. Best news I've read all day, well except for the Seahawks beating the Steelers... http://www.avp-movie.com/ This thing's been in the works for a good 10-12 years and it's finally gonna happen. Aliens was the Best. Movie. Ever. B)
  2. Actually, I didn't know you were having issues, did you send me a message? :( When you say one login doesn't work with the other, do you mean you have to use a different username/password, or you just have to use the same one twice? If that's the case, it's the way it works unfortunately. I've integrated the forum and website, but only so far as when you signup to one area, it signs you up to both. The actually cookies it saves to your PC are different.
  3. huh, wha?! I'm Awake mommy... err, nevermind... ;) Actually I did fix it, unfortunately, I only did it on one skin and not all of them. DOH! I'll put in a quick fix this weekend. For the record, I'm working on a new Biohaz forum skins with the colors more in line with the old layout. I personally hate all the existing skins I have installed, none of them are 'right' in my book. I'm about halfway done with the layout,I hope to get it completed by next weekend.

  5. Archer, PM sent...
  6. A few days ago I chatted with Nic Cole, the force behind the upcoming leather-bound LOMAC Manual to find out more about the project and the man behind it all. Read the Nic Cole Interview
  7. Just send them up via the upload link at http://dev.biohazcentral.com
  8. It's now official! Nic Cole's hard work has paid off, the paperwork has all been signed, and the official press release is out: US Price is $30, and worth every penny from what I've seen. We'll have much more on the manual, as well as an interview with Nic Cole later today. You can read all the details at www.lomac-manual.com as well as see better quality PDF examples of what the page layout will look like.
  9. I don't know, maybe we should ask that person... :P Oh wait, you're talking about this little ol' site? Once I get a few more tasks out of the way I might start running a FEW unobtrusive sim-related ads just to dig up a little extra cash for the site. I'm sure with the way things are in this post dot-com era, that will be VERY little... ;) I noticed that, we may actually break 1000 in a month or so. Not bad for a year+ old sim website. Fun/frustrating/proud/bothersome... Depends on the day. :) Seriously, it's a lot of work, but I do get a lot of satisfaction out of it. The last six months have been especially rough with the house move and ongoing remodeling, site issues, etc. There were a couple of times the last few months I was an easy decision away from chucking the whole thing. But things are finally easing up here, the site has been pretty stable with the new host, and I have an absolutely excellent staff that keep things fun, as well as forces me to raise the bar around here and strive to make things better. Fates, Mudd, Beer, Dice, and the rest are the people you should thank. If it wasn't for them I doubt the site would still be up. This one's on me guys! :) Actually, the old site counter reads 1,465,073 hits as of right now. Add the 256,056 from the new site and we are getting close to 2 million hits since August 2002. Again, not bad for a website that's advertised pretty much by word-of-mouth. I would really like to get close to double that number of hits in the next twelve months, I guess we'll see what happens. Thanks for the kind words, they are much appreciated... B)
  10. I'll post a note on this on the frontpage Snacky, I'm sure someone will be interested.
  11. Agreed, these suck. I am planning on bringing back the old ones, or I have my eyes on a custom set of orange similes... I'll put it on my to-do list... :D
  12. Thanks Tarheel, that's exactly what I needed! That and the damn scenario completion patch. When I bought this a long time ago I could never get the first mission to complete, so I gave up on it. Now I have something to keep me busy until Harpoon 4 comes out... ;)
  13. I had a couple of requests for some pics showing different SAM launch sequences, so I thought I would throw some up. There are a LOT of SAM systems modelled in LOMAC, so I grabbed shots from 4 of the more common ones including the SA-10 and SA-11 on the Soviet side, and the Hawk and Patriot systems on the NATO side. There are about 7 images in each sequence showing the system, launch, flight & impact. Enjoy! Check out the new full-size images here...
  14. Great news, I posted a notice on the frontpage...
  15. Vegas, my mistake, try it again, it WILL work this time. ;)
  16. Mudd, I edited the post to allow the images to show.
  17. They are posted in the Image Gallery here: http://www.biohazcentral.com/gallery/calendars
  18. Seems to be a rash of drinkin' and postin' lately, eh Snapple?? ^_^
  19. I just went in and re-enabled the feature. If people abuse it too much I may have to rethink this, but for now it's enabled on most of the forums.
  20. Schizo. did I miss something here? What the hell are you talking about?
  21. PM sent... ;)
  22. I wanted to take a few moments to let everyone know we have several new staff members helping cover the daily flight sim news. CowboyTodd41 is a longtime user that will be covering a variety of sims, while MrFrench's multi-lingual skills will come in handy covering a lot of the great french sim sites such as Check6. Be sure to give them a warm Biohaz welcome!
  23. Now that things are finally starting to come together after the forced move, it's time to get back to the business of LOMAC. What better way then some nice new screenies! Since everyone's got a good look at the A-10, Mirage and Mig-29 I thought I would show something different, so this series of pics focus on the F/A-18, with a Tornado shot for garnish. You can see all 14 new pics in the LOMAC Image Gallery
  24. Excellent vid Mudd, smooth and really shows off the TrackIR panning nicely. Be sure to put a link on the frontpage... ;) I've downloaded the F-16 addon but haven't had time to install it yet. A matter of fact, I haven't had time to do ANYTHING fun on the computer the last few weeks... ;)
  25. I know there's lots to do and while I'm working as fast as I can, my time is rather limited at the moment. So, I thought I would put it up for a vote on what I should concentrate on next. Please, your input is important to me, so throw out your thoughts or anything I might have missed that you guys think is important I focus on next.
