So, I decided to go ship-hunting with my French lunchbox. Never mind that it sounds like a weed-eater, is slower than a fart in a staff meeting, and is generally a suicide mission for anything that finds it. But it has the advantage of being GREAT in a low=level turning fight, and put 3 migs in the water trying to catch us. Results??? 4 dead Sampans, 3 Mig-21 Mongols in the water, a boatload of SAM misses, ran out of gas on FINAL, and a heck of a lot of fun.

Feeling Blue................

It was a crappy day to fly. I don't care if it's an all-weather interceptor...I'm a fair weather pilot kind of guy. Anyway, when the Frigates began to fire on the target I was closing on, I knew it wouldn't end well for him.

In the end, I never saw the ZSU-23-4....

Then a pair of Flankers appeared from behind a hill, and wanted a slow-speed, low-level dogfight..... How often does a Flanker leave you with a gun solution from dead astern?

This was supposed to be a simple Armed Recon mission....truck busting with a Harrier. Not so tough, right?

I'll give it a whirl................ Nice cockpit; the rest I'll let you know after flying it around some more.

Having been away for some time, I am not up to speed on what's safe and what's not where SF is concerned; nor what should be avoided. I'm not sure where I saw this originally, but does anyone have any info on this group, or has anyone dealt with them? http://125studio.tistory.com/

Good Morning, I tried this out, and as an intellectual exercise, it's both fascinating and horrifying at once. I tried this out on the small country town where I grew up, and it's sobering & disturbing to think that with even a small weapon (small being relative), it killed everyone in my hometown immediately, and contaminated completely the surrounding county.

I've always had a fascination for Mig 21's...They always look so sleek and menacing, even when sitting still.
