U-571. As if the Germany Navy was ever that incompetent. And it was the British that captured the Enigma decoding machine in 1941. One sub being hit by torpedoes out of the night by another sub, and then the survivors taking over the attacking sub? You don't get to be submarine captain's by having the IQ of a turnip. A German Destroyer/Destroyer Escort/Patrol Boat/Minesweeper, whatever it was with what had to be the dumbest crew ever to sail the Atlantic... You roll up on a German Sub in the Middle of the Atlantic, and the Captain isn't the one doing the talking? And you let them train their guns on you? Not to mention that it was exceedingly rare to SEE a U-Boat on the surface outside of port, unless there was some sort of major issue/action going on. And a long litany of things that just don't make any sense whatsoever. If it were trying to pass itself off as a war movie, the title of "worst ever" would go hands down to the "Iron Eagle" series. They had to be the absolute stupidest scripts ever set to cellulite.

It's not the fear of social network tapping that worries people; that's the LEAST of anyone's concerns. It's the knowledge that if even 1 area of your personal communications is tapped, where will the intrusion in our lives stop? I for one, didn't spend all those years tramping around the globe in the name of "Freedom", to meekly give it up at home because so many of my countrymen are gutless cowards afraid of their own shadow, and are willing to give away what my wife and I risked our butts for in 2 conflicts on foreign soil, just for the illusion of someone telling them "it's okay." There's ALWAYS going to be a danger of some sort in the world, man-made, natural, or cosmic; so how is letting ANY agency read my personal communications going to help combat that? And I've heard the line "If you don't have anything to hide, what are you worried about?" Some of the worst abuses and atrocities in the world have been committed under the guise of "knowing what was best" for everyone else, by a select few. Making it legal doesn't make it right. I never forget that everything Hitler did in Germany was "legal." And if you consider that an extreme comparison, remember most disasters start with small events that people think "aren't that bad."

I KNEW it was a set-up, but I HAD to see what it was. Very Nice.

Been There. I have a teen daughter, and on her best days, her life is in serious jeopardy of coming to a screeching halt. As you say, hormonally challenged, and much too lippy. I always have to remind myself that as a teenager, regardless of how much they THINK they know, they're not THAT smart, and don't think things all the way through. Take a deep breath, relax, and remember that pretty much every parent in the world has gone thru the exact same thing you have. You didn't hurt him, just reminded him that he is NOT an adult yet, and NOT your equal, and NOT in any position to be mouthing off. Besides, putting the fear of GOD (and DAD) into them needs to be reinforced every so often. You do the best you can, and go from there.

Same here Sundowner; you beat me to the posting. There's a LOT to be said for back-ups.

I have been having the same problem. I even tried dropping my video resolution & depth, checked all my drivers, etc, to no avail. I'm using W7, but I never thought about checking the crashlog. I make no promises about what I can find that will work, but I will look again now that I have a starting point.
