At this time I would like to pray to GOD, and ask that he turn Hurricane Frances away from the coast of my home state, so that A: I may have my hockey tryouts this weekend in Orlando, and B: So that Miami can host their own ass kicking. GOD, please send Frances to a place that is fitting of her wrath, perhaps Cuba, or better yet, France. Ah yes, College Football is in the air, I hope you are all preparing to spend your Saturday's on the couch with cases of beer and mounds of unhealthy food. F-L-O-R-I-D-A-S-T-A-T-E! FLORIDA STATE! Last night when i took a look around there was not much damage around my house but then this morning i went out to help out some freinds and neighbors cleaning up it was a completly differant story. My house had minor roof damage (few missing shingles and gutters flew off) but today i saw houses that got there roofs completly ripped off. There where also trees everywhere it was almost unreal, after a while we went down to a retirement community to help clean up there, those homes where completly destroyed it was really depressing and sad seeing the people coming back to there mobile homes and its just not there, they couldof been my grandma/grandpa it was just sad. We didnt even get hit by a major hurricane and all this s**t happend, i think the winds where just under hurricane strength when the center came over us. Ide hate to see what would of happend if it would have hit us full strenght. And why the hell don't people relize that if the stop light doesn't work there supposed to treat it as a 4 way stop, its not even funny how many accidents occured today because people just don't know how to drive." -From one of my fellow Seminoles in Oviedo (sorry I can't link).

It is very ugly in Port Charlotte right now. I have friends in Sarasota who didn't see much... but Oceola County has been declared a disaster area, and that's right next to my home County (Brevard)... but my Dad said that he didn't see much of anything. Tropical Storm/ Hurricane Bonnie didnt do much to us up here in Tallahassee, very little rain infact. It seems that the retirement communities of Florida always get the worst of the Canes. They still don't know the death toll in Port Charlotte, kinda reminds me of Homestead... I pray that we here in Florida don't have the same result. We got complacent with this one, and people died becuase of it. Andrew was in '92 and we've had it easy since then, it's a shame that the only people that remembered how dangerous Hurricanes are, were the ones in the insurance business.

Thought I'd give LOMAC another shot... I've tweeked my sub-par PC, to get the graphics and gameplay at an acceptable level.... but.... I'm not very computer savy.... So I need help with my X45 and the F-15/A-10.... I know you're supposed to assign a different button to be able to use missles, but this isnt working, I've read the read-me 5 times over, and I'm still lost. I've even tried just using the keyboard for firing missles... and the space bar just fires guns, just like any button I program for "fire". I'm afraid I need some step by step help... Yes, the Ace X pack is a must, if you are new to FB, I have a few training missions that I designed for a few of my friends here in town that I got started on sims.... ease them into IL2 before I drop LOMAC on them. OMFG! System=M=! Trance, House, Techno, all that stuff is pure instrumental. Most of the top acts/producers have classical backgrounds, and/or played in bands. I will agree, that most techno is s**t! But that's just because the majority of the people that listen to it, dont know what to pick up.... they think its some sort of crap that is made on a computer in a basement somewhere.... when its not. In fact many groups incorporate instruments into their live performances.... my latest love (Grayarea) uses Guitar, and Drums along with the electronics... and they are phenomenal. Rap/Hip Hop is doo doo.... it's not complex from a musical POV, all it is, is some asshole yelling obscenity over 3 layers of music. And Pop just needs to die. Rock has been dead (for the most part, IMHO) since '95. I miss real Punk, and the Seattle scene. :( BTW, did anybody see that Nickleback got rocks thrown at them at one of their shows, recently??? GOOD JOB to those in attendance!

hmmmm... that whole Bush in the S-3 still erks me a little, shoulda come in on the COD.... could have been worse though, trappin in an F-18 would've been absurd IMHO. As for Clinton; My sister and bro-in-law were in the Marines when he was in office, and no, neither of them have respect for him. I never had any probs with Clinton, but I can see how the military disliked him.

Seafire!!!!!! Would be nice to have a British carrier. And flying CAS over Singapore would be awesome! But the battle of the Coral Sea will be enough for me, I see lots of stuff for midway, I wonder if they are doing wake? Take off in a P-40 and do B&Z on a flight zero's, land, and do it again!

It is time to reflect, it is now 5-0 Flyers, and I see a remake of game 5 against my beloved Leafs. I'm drunk on Crown and coke, and I'm wishing it was October, the remainder of the playoffs is so hard for me every year. I just pray that us Leaf fans dont end up like Red Sox fans.
