View File SF2 F-102A (v2k) 64th FIS Skin & Decal Pack SF2 F-102A (v2k) 64th FIS Skin & Decal Pack 7/4/2021 -For SF2 =ONLY= (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended) This package contains all 2 new skins for Veltor2K's F-102A Delta Dagger. They represent the 64th Fighter Interceptor Squadron "Scorpions" from 1956 thru 1969. Within this package you'll find: ADC Grey (56-66) when the squadron was based at McChord AFB, WA, and when assigned to PACAF from Clark AFB, PI. SEA 3 Tone (66-69) when based at Tan Shon Nut, RVN, Clark AFB and in South Korea during the Pueblo Crisis. Almost all markings are decals, excepting the ADC Grey's tail badge. I experimented with a decal, it didn't look as good as it should have. So, going against my usual practice, it's painted on the fin. All 26 serial/buzz numbers are 100% historically accurate for this squadron, for -both- skins. The 3-tone SEA camo has the proper Tail Code assigned when the squadron was based in the Phillipines and Southeast Asia (Vietnam era), and correct serial presentation. Decal randomization is TRUE. As this unit is listed in the game's SquadronList.ini, their displayed name is activated via my (patent pending) fake "SqTail.tga", and will be visible on the Loadout Screen. The SF2 "date switch" is only used on the SEA 3 tone skin with a 1965 start date. Also included is a (slightly) upgraded AIM-4F Falcon missile, station specific coded for the F-102A. As is always recommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE read them, before installing!!! Happy Landings!   6. if you can still get it from 3rd Wire, buy the full package set (about $100 usd) it has all 5 games (SF2, SF2:E, SF2:V, SF2:I, SF2:NA, 2 expansions (one for isreal the other europe) and all 29 DLCs NA (NorthAtlantic) while the IcelandNA terrain sucks, it brings full carrier operations to the games you really can't go wrong that way, and you don't have to futz around with trying to convert 1stGens to SF2 -- we've pretty much got that all covered already.

    Can somebody give me the order of what to d/l? also -- really DUMB question, how to I make a copy of an XWA install? I know it's not like SF2. I have the GoG version. (with all the shit going on in my personal life, i'm just getting real stupid about now...) EDIT: ok, where does one find the install exe??? GoGGalaxy only wants to allow me to play. eeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrr.....

    Not yet. Gonna give it until after the holiday. what I'm concerned with, is how XWA structures missions. Unlike XWvTF you HAVE to finish the campaign mission to continue on. And adding missions (like in XvT to the various lst files), you can't access them until -once again- you've completed all the stock compaigns/missions. but it looks AAAAAAMAZING!!!!!!!
  11. the PRC is not going to be a major player until the mid-60s -- at the earliest. It was too unstable internally, and Mao was busy with the myriad of 5 Year Plans. So, not "j-series" birds or AFVs until probably around 1970. Think proxy suppliers (Sovs via Bulgaria or something like that) -- i remember the TinTin cartoons, what few we got here! my fav was the moon flight. cool rocket!!

  13. wonder if that upper the speed might fix the issue the Buckeye ??? Not getting ramp strikes, but "floats" over the wires ----------------- while they're minor meshes added, they do impact frame rates a bit. And with a lot of high poly birds parked on the roof ... it changes.
  14. there were only 10 Gunvals ever built *, and the USAF sure as hell wouldn't pass them along to some yahoos. Also, they had lots of issues, airframe and weapons wise. . You'd be better off using the Aussie Mk.32. Or maybe surplus de-navalized FJ-3s Also, all the "A" models that survived combat, came back to the States, were sent directly to Air Guard units. Even in a fantasy world, they were never exported (high time, overstressed airframes, old tech). Best to stick with Canadian manufactured "Es" they got exported everywhere (CL-13) Frontline Sabre Dogs also most likely werent be released to export market unitl 1960 (think Japan and Yugoslavia). As it's radar tech timed out (re: obsoleted). Even the JASDF used ex-USAF ones, and were never home-built. Might want to look at 1stGen jets of British (Vampire/Venom/Hunter) and French (Ouragon, Mystre) origins. (*I should know ... I did them)

  17. The templates for the Sabres are readily availalbe -- just look for Ravenclaw's F-86 templates. There are no better Why do extra work, when it's already been done for you??
  18. there should be no SAMs or AAA on the The Range. Its just a nice quite, non-threatening environment in which to blow shit up without interuption. However, there should be EWR and maybe a SAM Radar, just to liven things up, and have targets for SEAD practice. (it's been a few years since my last rebuild of it ...)

  21. Wow! The Range with it's original tileset!!! Haven't seen that in years!!!! (iirc, the TMF Phantoms had a working TISEO in 1stGen games)
