Douglas EB-66C Destroyer (Ver 2)
Douglas EB-66C Destroyer Update Pak (Ver.2) 8/16/2019
= For SF2, Any & All =
This is an update/upgrade/Remod of my 2013 pack. This is considered to be "version 2.0" of the EB-66C Destroyer ELINT/Escort Jammer aircraft. It it designed to replace, in total the earlier package from August 2013. If you have the original pack, you are instructed to delete it completly (aircraft, decals, and all), as this one has some major imporvements.
This remod pack contains 2 skins:
41st TEWS, 355th TFW, PACAF, Takhli RTAFB, mid-60s thru 1974-ish (RC tail code)
39th TEWS, 36th TFW, USAFE, Spangdahelm AB 1969-73 (JN tail code)
Both are new, and are (hopefully!) in the correct SEA 3-tone camoflague colors.
All NEW replacement serial number decals were created. Both skins use a pool of 36 100% historical serial numbers. As only 36 of these aircraft were built (in one block of 30 and a second of 6) it was a easy job. While totaly accurate in nature, the 36 numbers are not representative of individual aircraft of any unit or squadrons that used the EB-66C (other than by random happenstance). Decal randomization is TRUE.
As with the other B-66 mods, a heavily edited cockpit designed to 'fit' within the existing canopy framing is included. Avionics have been upgraded with new jammers, chaff dispensers, and so forth. This aircraft carries =NO= offensive weapons, or defensive guns. FLY ACCORDINGLY!!! A small modification to the data ini also allows for carrying external jammer pods & chaff dispensers in place of the drop tanks.
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. Please read them! See "Change Log" in the Notes section for a full-ish list of what's been, well, changed!
Happy SAM Dodging!!

SF2 Douglas RB-66C & WB-66D Destroyer Update Pak
Douglas RB-66C & WB-66D Destroyer Update Pak 8/12/2019
= For SF2, Any & All =
This package contains 2 of Bunyap's 1stGen aircraft brought up to a more SF2-ish
standard. Also, they seemed to be missing from the SF2 downloads, and I thought
it was time to bring them back. They are the:
RB-66C Destroyer (Recon & ELINT) aircraft
WB-66D Destroyer (Weather Recon, ELINT) aircraft
The units/skins provided herein are:
RB-66C:
42nd TRS, 10th TRW (USAFE)
19th TRS, 66th TRW (USAFE)
WB-66D:
9th TRS, 363rd TRW (ConUS+)
All markings are decals, excepting the 42nd tailfin flash. All serial and buzz
number decals (30 for the RB & 36 for the WB) are 100% historicaly correct. They
represent the full production runs for =BOTH= aircraft. The 2 skins for the RB
use the same pool of decals. A new Hi-Rez replacement skins were created from
HGBN's templates. The skins are in jpg format. As with the B-66 and EB-66, a
highly modified cockpit is supplied to 'fit' within the visible model.
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are
included. Please read them! See "change List" in Notes for what's been
modified/changed/adjusted.
Happy Landings!

SF2:V RB-57E Canberra "Patricia Lynn" (Remod)
SF2 RB-57E Canberra "Patricia Lynn" (Remod) 7/25/2019
= For SF2:V ( or Any & All SF2s, Full-5 Merged Prefered) =
*note: this mod was started for a CA member in July, 2018. I just recently found it in my archives. Figured I might as well release it!*
This is a complete rebuild of Anjundair's B-57E, and an update to Migbuster's RB-57E "Patricia Lynn" package for SF2:V.
The aircraft has 3 full skin and decal sets; all serial number decals are 100% historically correct. These skins depict the 460th TRW, Det 1 at various times in their deployments to Southeast Asia:
Natual Metal (1963)
Night 1 (1966)
Night 2 (1970)
The skins use the SF2 'date switch', and marking change as needed as per the year in use. Skins remain in their bitmap format.
The FM has been rebuild using the stock 3W B-57 as a base. The avionics have been upgraded, and you'll now have a full time LLTV set up. As there is no accurate B-57 cockpit, the F-4B is used as a stand in, due to it having scope to display the radar, TFR and LLTV (yes, we know there actually wasn't one in the front cockpit). This (gaming) aircraft remains fully combat capable, unlike the Real Life (tm) versions. See Notes for more information.
When in game, you'll see
RB-57E Canberra (AJ)
on the aircraft selection dropdown window. The "AJ" credits Ajundair, even though there are no other RB-57s available.
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them! If you have any earlier versions of this aircraft mod, it is =HIGHLY= suggested you delete the aircraft and decals folders, as THIS mod replaces everything. End users (tm) might also find the Notes section enlightning and informative.
Good Hunting!

***Note: Found in the Archives!!! This was done and should have been uploaded in early 2018!! But I guess never got around to doing so for whatever reasons. As I don't use my SF2:V mods folder much, there may be other birds that have been hiding in the hangars. I'll be more careful in checking from now on!! ***

SF2 F-86A Sabre, 1st Fighter Group Skin Pack
SF2 F-86A Sabre, 1st Fighter group Skin Pack 7/24/2019
-For SF2, Any and All (Full Merged Recommended)
This is a NEW skin pack for the F-86A Sabre. It is designed to be used on the F-86A-5 available from SF2 KAW Sabres Pack. The Sabre(s) are to be found at the following URL:
https://combatace.com/files/file/13604-sf2-korean-war-era-f-86-sabre-pak/
**Be advised! These are for CONUS based Sabres ONLY!! Do =not= use this set within your KAW mods folder! You are advised to have the aircraft installed into another mods folder for proper year-span & theatre usage.**
This skin set represents the 3 squadrons of the 1st Fighter Group in 1949 when they received the first operational F-86A Sabres at March AFB, and later based George AFB here in California. In the 1950s, the squadrons were dispersed across the US in the Air Defence role, but that's another story.
The squadrons are:
94th FIS "Hat in the Ring"
27th FIS "Fighting Eagles"
71st FIS "The Ironmen"
The skins are in jpg format, and each have 26 all NEW serial number decals. On the number list for each squadron (individial aircraft serial) drop down, any serial marked with a star (*) has been positively identified as having served in that squadron. Those marked with a cross/plus sign, (+) have been identified as having been assigned to the 1st FG. Those without any markings are generic F-86A serials. It should be noted, due to a lack of a full squadron roster, some of the serials will be repeated across all three squadrons. This could not be helped. ALL markings are decals, expecially the squadron flashes on the fuselage. Other squadron markings, the tail bands, are painted on for each squadron.
On the skin selection menu, on the Loadout Page, you'll see:
94th FIS, 1st FG (49-54)
27th FIS, 1st FG (49-54)
71st FIS, 1st FG (49-54)
As the game tends to order things by number in the aircraft main ini (F-86A.ini), you may want to edit them into the order shown above. The 94th was the first operational unit, followed by the 27th, and lastly the 71st.
The SF2 "date switch" =IS= active on this skin. It will automatically be chosen as the default skin(s) from 1949. As these units were never deployed outside the Continental US, it is NOT reccomended they be used in your KAW install.
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for the install instructions. For more information on the 1st FG, you are encouraged to look up it's long and distinguished history from World War 1 to the Present Day.
As an added bonus, a one sheet "expliotation" comic-style jpg is enclosed in the main aircraft folder. It's from one of the Hollywood "newspapers" (read: tabloids) of the time. I stumbled across it, and now share it with you all!!
Happy Landings!

SF2 Yak-14 Mare (What If) Pack
By Wrench in What If Hangar
SF2 Yak-14 Mare (What If) Pack 7/21/2019
-For SF2, Any and All (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended)
This package contains a "new" aircraft, the Yak-14 (NATO Codename "Mare") advanced jet trainer and light attack aircraft.
It is based on, and rebuilt from, Pasko's T-33 T-Bird as this was the aircraft (suitably repainted and rebadged) used in the 1949 motion picture "Jet Pilot". This represents the aircaft flown (#58) by Lt. Anna Marladovan (aka Olga Orlief) as played by Janet Leigh.
The aircraft is finished in "Soviet Dark Green", and all markings are decals. Skin maps remain in lo-rez bitmaps. All marking are decals, and decal Randomization is TRUE. New era specific Soviet pilot figures are included (the newer 'RedAir1' figure). It uses all stock 3W Soviet/WP weapons, but 'new' drop tanks are included. The canopy operates with the Standard Animation Keystroke (tm), Shift/0 (zero).
On the aircraft selection drop down, you'll see:
Yak-14 "Mare" (P)
The (P) designates that this was built from Pasko's old T-33.
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions.
Please see the "Notes" section for a list of changes to make the aircraft more SF2 compliant
This one was done purely for fun!! Enjoy it in that spirit!
Happy Landings!

SF2 P-47N Thunderbolt Post WW2 USAAF/USAF & Air National Guard Skins Pack
SF2 P-47N Thunderbolt Post WW2 USAAF/USAF & Air National Guard Skins Pack 6/20/2019
-For SF2, (Full 5 Merged Reccomended)-
This is a package for post-WW2 and Air National Guard squadrons that flew the P/F-47N Thunderbolt in the years from 1946-1954. These are for V.2 of Russ's N-Jug. All skins are in jpg format.
You can find Version 2.0 of Russ' P-47N at the following URL:
https://combatace.com/files/file/13202-p-47n-157z/
The skins included herein for Regular USAAF/USAF units are:
37th/48th/49th FS, 14th FG
99th/100th/301st FS, 477th CG/332nd FG
The other skins included here are for the Air National Guards of the following states:
Connecticut
Delaware
Georgia
Hawaii (Territory of)
Massachusetts
Pennsylvania
Puerto Rico (Territory of)
The USAAF/USAF had divided the country at the Mississippi River, and had P-51 Mustang ANG units in the west, and P-47D/N units in the east. This is why this set only has Thunderbolts, and all are Eastern States.
They are displayed on the Squadron Selection Drop-down window on the Loading Screen, as below:
37th/48th/49th FS 14FG (1946-48)
99th/100th/301st FSs 332nd FG (1945-48)
118th FS, 103rd FG (CT ANG 1946-52)
142nd FS (DE ANG 1946-54)
128th FS (GA ANG 1947-51)
199th FS (HI ANG 1946-54)
101st FS (MA ANG 1947-51)
146th FS, 112th FG (PA ANG 1947-51)
198th FS (PR ANG 1947-55)
Operational dates are rounded to the closest full year. The SF2 'date switch' is =NOT= used on any of these skins, as they overlap each other. End users (tm) will have to make any changes manually on the Loadout Screen for their flightmates.
A new data ini, with vastly improved FM and engine parameters (Now! With WEP!) is included. Some minor adjustments in hit boxes, armor, fuel tanks, etc have been performed. The operational years remain the same, so WW2 PTO users need not worry. Just drop it in. A backup copy of the original data ini is included, as a safety measure. It should be noted, Stary's superb Late WW2 cockpit -HIGHLY reccomended for this bird- is NOT included. If there is enough interest, I can add it to this, and upload an update. Or update the basic WW2 aircraft package.
Other than special squadron markings (color bands and the like) all markings are decals. Decal randomization is TRUE. Each squadron has 26 serial and 'Buzz number' decals. On the individual aircraft select drop down, for all skins, any marked with a star (*) are been 100% positively identified as having served in that unit. Any not marked should be considered generic in nature as they don't actually represent aircraft from any particular unit, but are late production block P-47Ns. Please see the "Notes" section for information regarding the 332nd & 14th FGs. They are treated as special cases. A reminder -- this package =ONLY= contains American users (USAF & ANG). None of the export customers are included. Nor are any weapons or pilot figures included. You should have them already.
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. As there exists an eariler version of these skins/decals, you will want to delete them or back them up to a different location entirely =BEFORE= installing these. Also, PLEASE read the "Notes" for further explainitory words on hows and whys.
Happy Landings!

SF2 F-84B Thunderjet, 49th FIS, 14th FG Pack
SF2 F-84B Thunderjet, 49th FIS, 14th FG Pack 7/7/2019
-For SF2, Any and All (Full Merged Reccomended)
This is a NEW aircraft, the Republic F-84B Thunderjet, depicted as when it first became operational in 1947. It it based on (one of) RussoUK's F-84s. It represents aircraft of the 49th FS (JP), 14th FG from 1947 through 1949. The 49th was the first USAF squadron to recieve and deploy the Thunderjet into active service (along with it's sister squadrons the 37th and 48th).They served in the "day and good weather" Air Defense role of the Eastern United states from Dow AFB, Maine.
The skin is in jpg format, and 26 serial and Buzz numbers decals were created. Decal Randomization is TRUE. On the number list (individual aircraft serial) drop down, any serials marked with a star (*) has been positively identified as having served in the 49th. The others, while some DID serve in other squadrons of the 14th FG, they could not be identified to any of the 3 squadrons. Others, for the B model, are generic in nature.
A NEW late 1940s pilot figure is included, as is the "f84" jet sound. Drop tanks, WW2 era bombs, rockets, etc are NOT. You should have these already.
On the Aircraft selection dropdown menu you'll see:
F-84B ThunderJet (RUK)
(This is to differentiate Russ's T-Jet from the as yet uncompleted FastCargo version; if it every gets done!).
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions.

SF2 P/F-61B Black Widow, 319th F(AW)S Skins Pack Post-WW2
SF2 P/F-61B Black Widow, 319th F(AW)S Skins Pack 7/2/2019
-For SF2, (Full 5 Merged Reccomended)-
This is a new skin & decal set for Veltro2K's P-61 Black Widow Night/All Weather interceptor.
This skin represents the 318th Fighter (All Weather) Squadron from 1946-1948. They were (originally) based at Mitchell Field (AFB) Long Island, NY, as part of the newly formed Air Defence Command. They and several other night/all weather and day fighter squadrons were responsible for the defence of the northeastern United States. In 1948, they moved to McChord AFB, Washington, transistioned to F-82 Twin Mustangs, and took on Northwest Air Defense duties.
The skin is in jpg format. All markings are decals. 26 new P-61B serial and Buzz numbers were created for this mod. The serials ARE for late production block 61Bs, but should be considered generic in nature as they represent no particular aircraft from any specific unit. Decal randomization is TRUE. Included is a hangar screen for this skin, too! The SF2 'date switch' is used to turn on this skin in 1946.
Also included is a new data and avionics inis. A new more compliant FM has been built, and many engine parameters have been adjusted (NOW! With WEP!!). The avionics ini, given game limitations, should be more in line with the actual workings of the SCR-720 air intercept radar. A backup copy of the data ini is included, for safety's sake. (always back up!!). See "Notes" below for a complete listing, and explainitions.
You must have the original P-61B from either you WW2 installs or a new download from the following URL to apply this skin set to:
https://combatace.com/files/file/14739-northrop-p-61-black-widow-pack/
Remember, this is a POST-war skin. The data ini has operational dates adjusted (corrected) accordingly.
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. Might want to give the "Notes & Other Nonsense" section a once over, as well! :)

SF2 P-47N Thunderbolt 36th FBS, KAW "What If" Skin Pack
By Wrench in What If Skins
SF2 P-47N Thunderbolt 36th FBS, KAW "What If" Skins Pack 6/22/2019
-For SF2, (Full 5 Merged Reccomended)-
This is a 'What If' skin for the P-47N Thunderbolt by RussoUK. It represents the
36th FBS, 51st FG if said unit had been equipped with Jugs during the Korean War.
It is to be applies to V.2 of Russ's Jug. If you don't have it, You can find
Version 2.0 of Russ' P-47N at the following URL:
https://combatace.com/files/file/13202-p-47n-157z/
The aircraft is painted in "silver lacquer" and carries the same style of tail
markings as seen on their Real Life (tm) F-80C Shooting Stars used in Korea. All
new serial and buzz number decals were created. The serials, while generic in
nature, are correct for the late model P-47Ns. Decal randomization is TRUE. Let it
be known that the SF2 Date Switch is =NOT= used on this skin*. A new more "chewed
up looking" damage tga is also included. When in-game, on the Loadout Screen's Skin
Selection Dropdown window, you'll see:
36th FBS (What-If, KAW 1950)
Remember, you'll have to change the skin for all members in your flight.
Once upon a time, there was a 1stGen version of this aircraft/skin that I did (mid
2000s???) but it dosen't seem to exist in the CA downloads anymore. So, this is a
full replacement. If any of you End Users (tm) still have it, you are instructed to
delete both the original skin and decals.
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy
access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. Might want to give
the "Notes & Other Nonsense" section a once over, as well! :)

MiG-21MF Fishbed-J "Global Sedition"
By Wrench in What If Skins
"Global Sedition" MiG-21MF Fishbed Skin/Decal Pak
-- For SF2, any and all that have the 21MF --
Yet another in the Series of "Things I'd Forgotten I'd Done, and Found On My Hard Drive"...
This is, basically, a redecalling of the stock MiG-21MF, but with new insignia decal for the 'Global Sedition' (an Evil Force , bent of World Domination (etc, and so forth). It's just another skin that can be used in the "What If..." world of the GS vs the North American Alliance.
Just for fun!
As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs, to make it a LOT easier to install (read: drag and drop).
enjoy!

T-33A Shooting Star, Skin & Ini Pak: Footbal City AF
By Wrench in What If Skins
T-33A Shooting Star, Football City Air Force, Skin & Ini Pak
-- For SF2, Any and All (also usable in SF/Wo* 1stGens as well) --
Another 'just for fun' aircraft mod, for the universe described in the novel series "The Wingman"
This is a skin/ini package for Pasko's T-33A. It adds the new FBCAF skin, and the inis update a few items closer to SF2 Standards. Included is a new main, data ini, and a new Userlist.ini. A quick note on the userlist - it may not be fully accurate, and may not reflect ALL users.
The canopy has also been switched to a manual animation key: use Shift/0 to open and close it. All weapons are stock (excepting the use of the F-86 drop tanks for RECON), so none are included. However, the 'newish' cockpit IS. Landing lights have also been added.
As this is NOT a Complete Aircraft Mod, you'll need to have Pasko's T-33A first, of course, before installing this mod. You can get it at the following URLs:
CombatAce:
http://combatace.com/files/file/1627-lockheed-t-33-shooting-star/
Column5:
http://www.column5.us/aircraft7.shtml
As always, =READ= the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs, to make it a LOT easier to install (read: drag and drop).
For SF/Wo* users, there's a note for you as well.
As usual, the expected "Notes and Other Nonsense for extra fun reading.
Now, go watch The Game!!

F-4B Phantom II, VMFA-58 "Wildcards"
By Wrench in What If Skins
F-4B Phantom II, VMFA-58 "Wildcards" Skin/Decal set (A "What If.." skin)
= For SF2, any/all versions with access to the F-4B Phantom, merged or not =
A complete rebuild of my "What If..." Phantom skin from 2006.
This is a reskinning and redecaling of the stock, plane-jane F-4B (no year suffix), using Sundowner's templates (what a masterpiece!!!). New serial numbers and all new BuNum decals have been created. BuNums ARE 100% accurate, in that they are for F-4Bs. Since this is a fantasy skin ... they're purly there for looks. Many new decals, for crew names have been created and added to the canopy rails (these are characters and production staff from the Space: Above and Beyond TV show, with a few 'just for funs' thrown in).
What is unusual for me, is the fact that most of the generic national/service markings are painted on, as opposed to my prefrence for decals. This was done to "open up" some meshes for other decals, thereby greating imporving the historical "look", and accuracy (!), of the aircraft.
This skin/decal set is perfectly usable for ANY of the other F-4Bs (F-4B_65 and F-4B_67), and possibly even the F-4J. Renaming of the skin bmps will be required for use on the other aircraft, however, but their mapping is identical (this =HAS= been tested!). See below for more details & instructions.
The skins are 2048x2048, so users with older, slower machines may need to resize them down one step to 1024; expect some detail loss, but they're still quite beautiful, even at the the smaller size.
NOTE: I've supplied 2 different _1.bmps for use. The one being used right now has the ship name "USS SARATOGA"* above the squadron name. If you do not wish to use that, use the 'no-ship-name_F-4B_1.bmp'. Instructions for switching are in the 'To Install' section below.
Included as well are modified data and loadout inis; the data ini has a new landing light added and the canopy activated via a manual animation key. Use Shift/0 to open and close it. The loadout ini removes the non-existant reconpod, from RECON missions, and replaces it with the 600 gallon tank. All other loads remain stock. The landing gear's RollingRadius has also been adjusted, as I've gotten sick and tired of the 'flat tire' look. The numbers I used can also be used on all the other Phantoms. Other improvements are some additional armor over vital internals. No other changes have been made.
* the SARA was the space carrier The Wildcards was assigned to in the TV show; just keeping continuity <grin>
As always, detailed, step-by-step install instruction are in the enclosed Readme. It's required you actually read it ...
Good Hunting and Happy Landings!

F-20B Tigershark, Quickie Skin/Decal Tweek Pak
By Wrench in What If Skins
F-20B Tigershark Quickie Skin & Decal UPgrade Pak for SF2
=For SF2, Any and All (but Full-4 Merged Prefered/Reccomended*)
*Note: at minimum, you =MUST= have SF2:E, as the decals ini makes references/callout pointers to the stock F-15A serials. If you don't meet these minimium criteria, don't D/L this, as you wont be able to use it*
Just a quickie pak with slightly modified skin bmps and decal pointers to use stock in-game decals for Veltro2k's F-20B Tigershark.
You =MUST= have the F-20B to apply this pak to; it's just a skin, a few decals and a couple of inis for said skin and decals.
It's a rather generic skin, with tail code markings for the 56th FW, at Luke AFB, Arizona. The "LF" code is a new decal, as are the intake warnings. The rescue tags are borrowed from somewhere I can't remember (an F-104???).
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them!! The usual "Notes" section for other interestering details and stuff, explinations, and general musings and things.
To make it easier, I'd reccomend (highly!) you unzip this archive first, and read the install instructions BEFORE installing, as without following them, you'll have a conflict.
*note: this is the correct tail code; the one shown in the "What if..." screenshots thread was not*
Happy Landings!

SF2 C-54 Skymaster, Arctic Skins Pack
SF2 C-54 Skymaster, Arctic Skins Pack 6/7/2019
- For SF2, Full 5 Merged (Reccomended )
This contains 2 new skins for Veltro2k's C-54 Skymaster. The aircraft itself can be found at the following url, for those that don't have it already:
https://combatace.com/files/file/14309-sf2-douglas-c-54-skymaster-by-veltro2k/
These are somewhat generic skins for those USAF units that flew in the high latatudes (Arctic & Antarctic) during the late 1940s through the mid-1950s. Both aircraft carry the nose and tail Military Air Transport Command (MATS) badges, correct for the time.
Both aircraft have the standard arctic red tail and wing easy ID markings.
"Arctic 1" is in all Natural Metal finish. It is badged for MATS Altantic Division
"Arctic 2" is in NMF with the post-1955 white anti-heat treatment on the upper cabin. It is badged for MATS Pacific Division. No specific units are represented.
Both skins use a 'pool' of serial numbers and other markings. Serial numbers are generic in nature, but are for the correct model C-54. Decal randomization is TRUE for both. The SF2 Date switch is =NOT= used on either skin, as this would mess up the standard switching from NMF to NMF/White on the other skins.
When in game, on the Loadout Screen, in the skin selection window, you'll see:
Arctic Red (1948-54)
Arctic Red (1955<)
This way, you should be able to select the proper skin for the time frame to be flown in.
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions.

SF2 F-86A Sabre, 115th FIS, California ANG Skin Pack 6/9/2019
-For SF2, Any and All (Full Merged Reccomended)
This is a NEW skin for the F-86A Sabre. It is designed to be used on the SF2 KAW Sabres Pack, for the F-86A-5 available therein. The Sabres are to be found at the following URL:
https://combatace.com/files/file/13604-sf2-korean-war-era-f-86-sabre-pak/
Also included is a new data ini, with updated hit and collision boxes, and some meshes now correctly named. Honestly, I'd never noticed they were 'way off' until Mue's LOD Viewer! Please note, that Crusader's fix-its have already been applied to THIS versions' data ini. A backup copy of the original (2012) data ini is supplied, so as to lessen End User (tm) workload, and provide a safety net 'just in case'.
This skin repesents the 115th Fighter Interceptor Squadron of the California Air National Guard from 1954 through 1959-ish. The skin is in jpg format, and 26 all NEW serial number decals have been created for it. While the serial numbers are historically correct for the A model, they should beconsidered generic in nature as they don't actually represent aircraft from this particular unit. However, at least 9 of these ARE actual aircraft used by the 115th; the rest =were= used by other CA ANG units. Decal randomization is TRUE. Squadron color markings are 'painted on' the skin maps.
On the skin selection menu, on the Loadout Page, you'll see:
115th FIS, CA ANG (54-59)
The SF2 "date switch" =IS= active on this skin. It will automatically be chosen for years of 1954 and later.
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions.
Happy Landings!

SF2 F-86E Sabre, 144th FIS, Alaska ANG Skin Pack
SF2 F-86E Sabre, 144th FIS, Alaska ANG Skin Pack 6/5/2019
-For SF2, Any and All (Full Merged Reccomended)
This is a complete revamp of a 1stGen Sabre skin by Dave "USAFMTL" Slavins from June, 2003. It is designed to be used on the SF2 KAW Sabres Pack, for the F-86E-10 available therein.
A backup copy of the original (2013) data ini is supplied, so as to lessen End User (tm) workload, and provide a safety net 'just in case'.
This skin repesents the 144th Fighter Interceptor Squadron of the Alaska Air National Guard from 1955 through 1957-ish, when their mission changed from Air Defense to Airlift. The skin is in jpg format, and 26 all NEW decals have been created for it. While the serial numbers are historically correct for the E model, they should beconsidered generic in nature as they don't actually repsent aircraft from this particular unit. Decal randomization is TRUE.
On the skin selection menu, on the Loadout Page, you'll see:
144th FIS AK ANG (1954-58)
The SF2 "date switch" is NOT active on this skin. You'll have to select this skin for your flightmates by hand. However it is easily added by a simple text edit.
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions.

SF2 F-89 Scorpion Remod Pack (Ver.3)
SF2 Northrup F-89 Scorpion Remod Pack (V.3) 5/25/2019
*For SF2, Any & All (Full 5 Merged Prefered)*
This is a repackaging, and MAJOR update of the F-89 Scorpion series of 1950s USAF All-Weather Interceptors. There have been many changes to the various inis, skins/decals, weapons, and whatnots. This is to be considered to be "Version 3", and hopefully the final time the F-89 gets a revamp (unless new models magically appear). This package builds on and improves from the v2 pack dated 3/3/2016. It also replaces that mod completely.
This package contains ALL the various marks of the Scorpion, including those later variants built from/modded of Monty's original C & D model LODs. There are several new skins, marked with the star (*) You have herein:
F-89C:
57th FIS, (Keflavik, Iceland)
74th FIS, 23rd FIW (Thule AFB, Greenland)
F-89D:
75th FIS (Presque Isle AFB, Maine 1955)
84th FIS (Hamilton AFB 1955-59)
64th FIS (Alaska Air Command)
321st FIS, (Paine AFB, WA 1954)*
F-89H:
321st FIS, (Paine AFB, WA 1956)*
75th FIS (Presque Isle AFB, Maine 1957)
F-89J (Early):
321st FIS, (Paine AFB, WA 1958)*
449th FIS (Ladd AFB, Alaska)
F-89J (Late)
59th FIS, Goose Bay Labrador (1958-60)*
178th FIS "Happy Hooligans" ND ANG (1958-66)
124th FIS, Iowa ANG (1962-69)*
Several versions also have a "Generic USAF Silver" skin, complete with decals. You may notice several squadrons used the Scorpion in several of it's various incarnations. This is historically correct.
Due to mesh/node mapping reasons, some marking remain painted on. A large number however, are decals. Serial numbers are 100% correct for the models depicted, but should be considered 'generic' as they don't represent actual aircraft with a given unit. Decal randomization is TRUE for all skins. Squadron's listed in the stock game's SquadronList.ini have their names activated via my 'fake' SqTail decal. Those will display their proper names on the Loadout Screen's Squadron Selection Window. When possible, the SF2 'date switch' has been used to turn on Air National Guard units as they became equipped with F-89s.
On such aircraft that have operating canopies (those that use the F-89D lod), the canopy works via the Standard Manual Animation Keystroke (tm), shift/0.
Included also are "Scorpion" specifc weapons (using the "StationSpecifieCode=" statements. Nuke explosion effects are included for the AIR-2 Genie rocket.
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. See "Notes" section for full change log and other important statements. The various other readmes, from all previous versions remain wherever they were originally residing.
Good Hunting!

SF2 F-84F Thunderstreak by The Mirage Factory
SF2 F-84F Thunderstreak by The Mirage Factory 5/12/2019
= For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =
This is a rebuild for SF2 of The Mirage Factory's F-84F "Thunderstreak" (swept wing version). It goes again my grain to see such a well done aircraft, albeit originally built for SF/W0* 1st Gens, and many associated skin/decal set languish in obscurity simply due to age and the existence of one from 3rd Wire, albeit in a purchasable DLC. THIS one is free, and won't need any hoop-jumping to keep player flyable.
I've scavanged most of the existing skin sets, did various tweaking to make them a bit more SF2 ready. The aircraft FM has been slightly adjusted for SF2, a destroyed model attached, decals randomized, and when necessary, decals and new skins created from the revised TMF Templates by Pappychksix. The templates are included in a separate named folder in this download. For those skins with painted on national markings, my patent pending "fake insigina decal" trick was used to activate the Nation Name displayed. The same trick, with my patent pending "fake SqTail" decal, now activates any and all squadrons that are listed in the stock 3W Squadronlist.ini. Reminder: the Squadronlist ini ONLY has full units, not, for example, the various Staffels of the BLW T-streaks.
All new skin specific Hangar screens (SF2 style), and one of my famous "AvArt" style loading screens are included. All drop tanks, pilots, weapons and sounds needed are included (see Notes about camo tanks). The Canopy opens with the Standard Animaiton keystroke (shift/0 -shift/Zero).
In this pack you have many skins. Most use the 'SF2 date switch' to go from Natural Metal to the End Users (TM) national camoflague finishes. Please note, some skins are in their original "as issued" bitmap format. Some have been rebuilt, or new builds, in jpg format. The skins supplied are:
= USAF:
78th TFS, USAFE, RAF Bentwaters
168th FBS, Illinios Air National Guard (1961 Berlin Crisis)
4510th CCTS, Luke AFB (called 'USAF_Silver')
= Belgian Air Force:
3rd Squadron (NM 1956)
2nd Squadron (NATO Camo) -switches on in 1958
= Netherlands KLU:
311 Sqn, KLU (Camo) -starts 1964, when F-84Fs were recieved
= France:
EC 1/1 Corse (1955-1960) -folder called "AdA"; NM. see notes.
EC 3/1 Argone (1956 Suez and post-Suez, 1957-ish)
= West German BLW:
JaboG 31 2nd Sqn "Alma" (NM 1956) (new by me)
JaboG 31 2nd Sqn "Alma" Camo
JaboG 32 3rd Sqn Camo
JaboG 33 3rd Sqn Camo
JaboG 34 "Allgäu" 1st Sqn
JaboG 35
*Note all except II/JBG 31 NM 56 are Camo, and start in 1962. All BLW skins/decals, except where noted are from Soulfreaks GAF Thunderstreak Pack*
= Greek Hellenic Air Force:
348 Sqdn, HAF, NM (1958)
346 Sqdn, HAF, SEA Camo (1971)
*Note: in between the NM and SEA, many HAF T-streaks carried NATO 2-tone. That skin is not supplied. See Notes.*
Also included is a 'generic natural metal' for any other skinners that wish to fiddle with new skins. As many of the NATO 2-tone camo aircraft use all decals for markings, and the template is supplied, it should be easy to create other skins as needed. Even though the header reads "Full 5 Merged", it can be used in any SF2 mods folder.
When in game, on the aircraft selection drop down menu, you'll see:
F-84F ThunderStreak (TMF)
This differentiates it from the stock 3rd Wire version.
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. Where possible, I've included the original readme for the various skin sets; the original TMF aircraft readme is in the main aircraft folder.
On behalf of my brother Mod Mafiosos...
Good Hunting!

RAAF CAC Sabre Mk.32 -Version 2
RAAF CAC Sabre Mk.32 -Version 2.0-
For SF2 (any and all)
Note: this version REPLACES any earlier ones in it's entirety!! You should delete your original, if you have it already. As the skins have been changed to jpg, the original bmp format will cause a conflict.
Some ini modifications and 2 new skins for Zur's Avon-powered Sabre, as used by the RAAF in the 50s-60s.
The skins are:
3 Squadron
77 Squadron
Serial numbers are historically accurate; with the sources I used I've tried to match aircraft with the squadron served with ... I've come within about 98%; pretty much as far as possible.
Decal Randomization is set to TRUE for both skins
For End Users ™ with the Oz Mirage DLC, I've activated the squadron display on the Loadout Screen via my 'fake' sqtail decal.
Other ini mods added the radar-ranging gunsight, landing lights, etc. Loadouts, however are =NOT= historically correct, due to some LOD issues. (More on that in the "Notes" section). A rather 'generic' SF2 style Sabre hangar screen is included.
Weapons are =NOT= included - all excepting the drop tank reference stock, in-game items. You can obtain the drop tank in any of the other Sabre Paks or from the Gunny's Weapons Pak.
As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs/requires/should have, to make it a LOT easier to install. Also, as usual, the expected 'Notes and Other Nonesense' comments by me.
=================
Changes for Ver 2.0:
new large format jpg skins
new SF2 compliant FM
new sounds
dds damage textures
fixed shadow issue

= For SF2, Any/All (Full 5 Merged RECCOMENDED!) =
This is a "repair" package for the recently released ATlas Impala Mk.2 by Marcfighters.

and had the necessary panel lines redrawn to remove the painted on national markings. They
are now all decals, which are stock in all 3W games (merged).
The Entire Aircraft package, available below is also getting this patch applied, so if
you've downloaded the aircraft already, this fix-it kit for YOU.
If you haven't downloaded the aircraft, what's stopping you??? :)
Below is the URL for the full aircraft package (updated)

SF2 Atlas Impala Mk.II by Marcfighters V2
By Wrench in Other Origin
= For SF2, Any/All (Full 5 Merged RECCOMENDED!) =
This is the release of Marcfighters Atlas Impala Mk.2, single seat COIN/Attack jet as used by the South African Air Force.
This aircraft has/had languished for a considerable amount of time in that "hangar of forgotten & unfinished mods". I hope that this will correct that.
This mod represents the Atlas Impala MK2, single seat attack jets. The mod uses all stock 3W weapons (which may need further research/adjustments). 25 all new historically correct SAAF serial number decals are included, and Randomization is TRUE These decals are used for both included skins. This is the SAAF -ONLY-, non exported version. No user list was created; the aircraft is single nation only. There are 2 skins, and "Early" and "Late"; the late uses the SF2-date switch and starts in 1982
When in-game, you'll see
Atlas Impala MK.II (MB-326K SAAF)
on the aircraft drop down selection panel.
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. The Uploader takes NO credit for the aircraft itself, only for those edits and adjustment to get it more in compliance with the SF2 Environment (tm). See "Notes" section for full change log and other VERy important statements.
= Please Note: is models is released "AS IS". Anything that cannot be corrected/adjusted via ini edits will remain so for all time =
Happy Landings!

** Important Note: if you install this to the Angola Mod, be advised that there exists an aircraft named Impala Mk.II. This should NOT conflict with it, but you may have some editing to do, as theirs is labeled "Stand In". It is not advised to just drop this one into that mod without further editing. **
UPDATED: 3/7/2019
"Early" skin has been repainted to remove national markings. All have now been replaced with decals.

FJ-3M Fury by Zur and Co., for SF2
NAA FJ-3M Fury
= For SF2, Any and All =
This is the full, compiled package of Zur/Column5's FJ-3M Fury. I've assembled all theskin/decal sets I could find into one big lump.
Skins included in the pak are:
VF-53 from ??
VF-62 from USS Essex, ATG-201 during the Beirut Crisis
VF-73 from USS Randolph, circa 1956/57
VF-84 from USS Forrestall, crica 1956/57
VF-142 from USS Hornet, 1956
VF-211 from USS BonHomme Richard, circa 1956
VMF-312 (actually an FJ-3 in Natural Metal, circa 1955ish)
Some of the older decals have been replaced by new-builds, and all the positioning has been reset to match photographic and profile evidence. With a little luck, they're right! Decal randomization is also set to TRUE, so make sure you're at least at the July 2011 patch level (or whichever one gave that to us)
Also included is a new drop tank (based off the original Sabre tank), as reskinned by C5 for the original release. I've just did some hex editing and renaming of the tank to create the "new" version just for the Fury.
Other changes are the addition of the Userlist, a new avionics ini that adds the radar-ranging gunsight. And a revamped SF2 version of my 'artwork' hangar screen. Loadouts use all stock, in-game items.
The aircraft is fully carrier-capable, via the addition of a 'virtual' arrestor hook. The 'destroyed model' callout has been added, using the closest shape (F-100D). Not perfect, but it works!
As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed, easy-to-follow install instructions. Of course, the usual 'Notes' section for the ravings of a madman!!

SF2 Hangar Screen Template
Hangar Screen Templage for all SF2 series
I've been forgetting to upload this ...and finally remembered!
This is a stripped-down version of my Photoshop PSD Hangar Screen templage.
I've left 2 'aircraft' layers in, other than the background/foreground items so you can see how it was done, using both a photograph and screenshot to replicate the old WoE-style.
Get used to using the cut/slice tools and the eraser!! And don't forget, SF2 wants them save as jpgs for in-game use (same goes for Loading Screens, too)!!!
Have Fun!

SF2 Series Menu Screen Templates
Menu Screen Templates for SF2 series 5/20/10
This is a pack of Photoshop PSDs for the following menu screens:
Debrief
Loadout
MedelList
Options
PilotRecords
PlanningMap
Roster
SingleMission
The Hangar Screen will be released seperatly, as that needs a more intensive readme, with full instructions for 'how to..', in particular on editing screenshots for use.
They are multi-layered, with redrawn seperator lines, 'blackboards' for the displayed text, and new backgrounds. The background included herein a more of a 'generic' type, of various sky scenes. All the 'hot spots' for the mouse remain in the stock positions.
They are the standard size of 1024x768, as used by 3rd Wire. Although in PSD format for Photoshop, they should be usable in any other program that can open and work PSDs.
As always, read the readme for full instruction, and details for use.

LOTR RNZAF Kfir C.16 "Raiona"
By Wrench in What If Hangar
LOTR RNZAF Kfir C.16 "Raiona"
-- For SF2, Full-4 Merged =ONLY!!!=
This mod creates a fully new aircraft, an EXTENSIVELY upgraded Kfir "C16" as might be used by the RNZAF.
It =REQUIRES= a Full-4 Merged install, or at the very least, SF2:I and SF2:V for the various and sundry bits used herein. If you do NOT have the minimum required game installs, DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS MOD, as you won't be able to use it.
3 new skins, (partly redrawn from stock) and their attendant decals are included. No aircraft or cockpit parts (lods, bmps/tga/jpg) are included, as they use all 'internal' bits pulled from the various game cat files (in a similiar fashion as the Panama Mirage IIIPN).
The 3 skins "represent" some of the aspects of the "Forces of Good" from the LOTR series:
Rohan1 = Shieldmaidens (a squadron of mostly female pilots!!!)
Rohan2 = Riders of Rohan
Gondor = Stewards of Gondor
Each with a different fin-flash.
Modifications to the base model include (but not limited to), addition of landing lights, correcting the positions of the taillights, activating the canopy via an manual animation key (use Shift/0 to open and close), massive upgrading of the avionics suite (included new jammers and CM dispensers). Other mods include the addition of a laser designator for prescision strike, new A-A & A-G radars, and many other 'hidden' changes.
NOTE: most, if not all, of the weapons used are STOCK. With possibly 2 exceptions, and they're not presently used.
As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs, to make it a LOT easier to install (read: drag and drop).
Have fun with it!!
I sure did, when building it!!
