  2. AI can land with no nose wheel But since belly landings aren't modelled the guy blew up after stopping.

  6. The stuff that flies over Germany... Funny, the FM doesn't create pitch-up at high AoA but the stability goes by the ball. You have to work ailerons to avoid flipping.

  8. Were they bombed flat in RL as it happens in campaign? Even after patches airfields are the most frequent targets.

As for GR.3 I can't find any screen here http://media.photobucket.com/image/harrier...R3cockpit01.jpg Can anybody tell me if tanks normally show up as stationary targets? I just had an AR campaign mission and saw not only some trucks crawling about, but also a whole lot of tanks parked in the city. With crews by the look of it. Tanks' position was our mission waypoint but trucks still were the primary target. We were just about to blast the armour when Two got ten hits by 14mm, lost his left rocket pod and guns, and found himself with 2 Fresco-D on his tail. After I helped the guy out (with rockets still under wings) and sent him home, I unloaded the rest of my ammo on trucks and left too.

  12. Still, weight limit is pretty.. limiting. Anyway, if you hold the joystick right VL on SF2E Harrier is not that hairy. You can even get to 0 airspeed without stalling or spinning
  13. I don't get that yaw problem when I land like a helo. That is, speed and altitude must both decrease gradually so that the plane becomes really slow about 2m above the runway (not some 50m in the air, you won't be able to hover long enough to land). Then you throttle down and hit the brakes.

  15. Well, VTOL is coded rather curiously in TW sims. Turn nozzles down on parking, turn engine off and move the stick about. Plane will still bank and pitch as if the turbine were running. Maybe raw jet power is reduced to take reaction control into account Wiki says that Pegasus tends to overheat during long hover and water injection supply is very limited.

  19. I think it depends on number of planes squadrons on those airfields have.
  20. No word yet, but weapon editor came out between SF2 and SF2V, and gun editor between SF2V and SF2E, so there's chance...
