Im just wondering about uploading OFF onto Steam (yes, I know what people think about Steam..and I agree..it sucks on many levels!) However, with my format now complete..and OFF well and truly Gone (along with a fair bit of other stuff)...I have my Steam games on another drive...Have downloaded the steam client..and bobs ya uncle...all games work! You can upload a non steam game too....just wondered if anyone has tried?

Thanks guys...yup, I've done all that Hardware checking...It's 'almost' certainly software related...the only thing I can't check is Mobo and CPU Need to reinstall windows to be sure now

Getting fed up with this formatting lark!..opened a program yesterday Windoze 7 crashed...blue screens galore...have been trying all day to get it up and running again..it did, though very intermitantly...lost my patience now...format c:....bugger!

Well, often fly Camels or SE5a's I'm afraid I'm one crazy sonofabitch when it comes to dogfighting...I would be a real 20 minuter if I flew like I do in OFF. I'm extremely aggressive in combat, and really take the fight to the Enemy Though my current Pilot seems to have a charmed life!....I have crashed once, but survived...I think if I worried to much, he'll be dead in days...but he keeps getting Kills...though I'm sure, his days are numbered, but he'll go out in a blaze of Glory

Hi Dave Yeah, Im aware of DXTbmp, but (unless I'm mistaken) it doesn't do thumbnails in the way DDS Viewer used too? ie: if I open the skins folder in OFF...with DDS viewer, I could see all 4000 skins as thumbnails...rather than opening each one?

I think one has to bear in mind, that the bottleneck is often the software itself... CFS3 only runs on single core (as Hellshade points out)
