Lets see how I can explain this an not go overboard. If there are less than 15 decals made, which uses a numbers.lst, which in turn is located in the skin folder of the aircraft you are flying. The number.lst tells it what number to use, which in the sim you can tell it which number to use in the loadout interface. Ok so if it gets to the last number in the list, like 161, and there are no more for it to use it will be blank. It is easier if you just assign it yourself. Make sense?

Actually you are both right. Yes 6 mavs the way they are slung create tremendous drag. But also you will never see them carry that unless they are ferrying. Growlers info was correct about the flaming would damage the gear. It wa something they found out in testing during the 70's. Also you will never see a war load of 18 Mk82's, that is all for show or exerscies ie Red Flag, Arctic Warrior etc. The A-10's are carrying more PGM's with the use of the lightening pod. The kids we were sending to be A-10 maint crews are getting there hands on the A-10C. That is thing is even more deadlier than the A model.

Here is a non good use of camo.....the black and whites of the SU-27 make is stand out like a sore thumb.

Even low vis grey comes in handy at low altitude. Lets see some screen shots of effective use of camo in a variety of terrains using any aircraft.
