  1. Thanks howling.
  2. Open your weaponsdata.ini found in your objects folders with notepad. {Assuming you have extracted it with the extract utility.} Add the data as shown below: Save and close the weapondata.ini Activate the Weapon Editor, direct it to the objects folder and to the weapondata.ini: When the box appears you should see the you tanks at the bottom as it was probably the last thing you add. In the example, mine is higher up but that will not make a diffference. Select the F16CTank Double Click on the highlighted F16CTank. The box below opens up. Once open just hit ok. Do the same thing with the wings tanks. Again after hitting ok you will be back to the main wep editor screen. All you do is hit SAVE. Go fly.
  3. Are you sure you want that LOL? Me leading?
  4. Told SimHq adios today. Here is what I said. Well people it is time to go on to bigger and better things. With CombatACE kicking off I am going to focus being over their. It has its own forum, you can upload with ease and I am part of the staff there. My intention is to make CombatACE the place to go for SF stuff along with C5's site. If you notice there is a wealth of old SF heads who have left already and or rarely post here. If you want to know whats what, then y'all SF fans will have to move over to CombatACE. Not taking away from SimHq. It has been good to me and all of us. But with CombatACE we modders and SF Fans have a sense of ownership over there. Hell you can even post a pic without having to worry if it is going to delete it. :p So that is where I stand. I have talked to people like Fubar and 531 Ghost and agree it is time to move on. C5 has his site and I am over there all the time. You want news on SF then you need to go to CombatACE. You want to just BS, go to CombatACE. To get it going we and YOU need to be over there. All my projects, downloads and announcements about D/Ls will be there will be there from now on. So will many others. So the rest is up to you and how loyal you are to SF and the modders. I may be back time to time but who knows. So take care all and thanks to Simhq, its been a great ride.

AD's much anticipated F-105D-25, the workhorse of the Vietnam Air war. Feel free to host. Special thanks to Sundowner. README *********************************** F-105D-25 Thunderchief for Strike Fighters : Project 1 *********************************** build 13-03-2004 *********************************** Installation *********************************** To install the F-105D-25 Thunderchief simply unzip the "F-105D-25" folder and place it in your "Strikefighters\Objects\Aircraft" directory. Then simply run strike fighters selecting Single Mission and picking the "F-105D-25" from the list of flyable aircraft. *********************************** Notes *********************************** SP3 and latest Weapons pack required. *********************************** F-105D-31 Thunderchief introduction & History *********************************** Built by Republic Aircraft, the F-105 was designed as a supersonic, single-seat, fighter-bomber able to carry nuclear weapons and heavy bomb loads over great distances at high speeds. It made its first flight on October 12, 1955. The first F-105D (58-1146) flew on 9 June 1959. The TAC at Nellis AFB, Nevada, accepted the first F-105D on September 28, 1960. The initial contract for 59 F-105Ds was increased to nearly 300 by the end of 1961. Ultimately, 610 F-105Ds were built. The F-105D variant was an all-weather fighter-bomber version, fitted with monopulse and Doppler radar for night or bad weather operations. This radar was capable of terrain avoidance commands. The original weapons bay, designed for nuclear stores, was sealed and fitted with additional fuel tanks. Bombs were carried on multiple weapons racks on the centerline of the fuselage, and on wing pylons. The aircraft was fitted with a retractable in-flight refueling probe. During the Vietnam War, F-105 units operated from bases in Thailand. The F-105D was the major production version of the Thunderchief series. It was an all-weather version of the day-only F-105B. Externally, the -D differed from the -B in having a slightly longer and wider nose, which housed the AN/ASG-19 "Thunderstick" system designed to meet new all-weather requirements specified in the November 1957. The AN/ASG-19 was designed around the NASARR R-14A all-purpose monopulse radar. This was optimized in both air-to-ground and air-to-air modes and was capable of performing both low-level and high-altitude missions. The aircraft was equipped with a General Electric FC-5 flight control system that operated in conjunction with the R-14A radar to provide the F-105D with full all-weather capability. The system included a bomb-toss computer, a sight system, an AN/APN-131 Doppler navigator, an air data computer, missile launch computer, autopilot, and search and ranging radar. The radar installation also incorporated a terrain guidance mode permitting the pilot to descend through bad weather in unfamiliar territory and to hug the ground, avoiding detection. A J75-P-19W jet engine equipped with water injection powered the F-105D. A new cockpit was provided with a vertical instrument panel. The higher gross weight of the -D version required the provision of a stronger main landing gear and more robust brakes. In addition, a pitot tube was mounted on the extreme tip of the nose. The aircraft were otherwise quite similar to other F-105s. The F-105D had an arrester hook mounted on the rear of the ventral fin. This hook was intended to engage a wire in case the aircraft overshot the end of the runway during a landing. The Thunderchief was not capable of carrier-based operations. Known Issues *********************************** * Service pack 3 needed for tape gauges * 23rd skin sharkmouth issue under the nose - cant be fixed, model lost. Campaign by David "USAFMTL" Slavens* more info to comeUpdated for 1.02

This little campaign is very loosly based on the novel of the same name by Richard Hermann. It is a very difficult campaign. I haveonly passed it once. But if you love a challenge then this will fit your bill. You fly in an F-15 of the 32 FS as Maj Jack Locke. His wingman is Capt "Thunder" Bryant. There are other things going on in the mission as well to add to the immersion factor. Put this file in your LOMAC/Missions/Campaign folder and enjoy. I left it declassified.David "USAFMTL" SlavensUpdated for 1.02

  21. Did I sound pushy Tom? I didnt mean to if I did. Sorry
  22. AHHHHHHH MY EARS.
  23. Did some of you read the article? "The B-2 originally arrived from Palmdale, Calif., in seven separate C-5 Galaxy shipments. Never built to fly, the aircraft had to be disassembled for shipment to the museum’s restoration facility here. Originally, it served strictly as a ground-based test article to evaluate the airframe’s integrity in varying degrees of stress." It never flew. So I don't see the big waste in money. It was a test bed.
  24. You can hit Ctrl A a few times to speed up times and Shift A to go back to normal time. I make them long as alot of missions do take some time.
  25. Geez where do you want me to start between my wife and I we got about 45. All from former commands. Right now I have to carry 2 coins. My MTL coin and my squadron coin. I will have to get my butt scanning.
