Blackburn Baffin 2 GR (Wellington) Squadron. RNZAF (1938-1941) For the Baffin by SkippyBing (Philip Chandler), which is available at Avsim. New Zealand received 29 Blackburn Baffins during 1937/38. Most were converted Ripon MkIIs that had seen long service with the FAA. A handful were built as Baffins and served in the Middle East. Arranged into 3 squadrons and assigned to training duties, they were pressed into active service (anti-submarine patrols) at the start of hostilities. The entire contingent was replaced by Hudsons and reduced to scrap in 1941. The last remaining example of the type (a Ripon converted to a radial engine) is in Finland. LloydNB -

Hawker Fury MkII SAAF No.1 Squadron For use with the A-Team Fury MkII. Some elements of Charles' original skin have been retained. This is the latest skin in my tribute to the SAAF in East Africa. The Hawker Fury was still in service with the South African Air Force at the start of WWII. Due to aircraft shortages, the Fury used in mixed squadrons during 1940 in East Africa. Enjoy LloydNB -

Amiot AAC-1 "Toucan" During the occupation of France the Amiot factory produced Ju-52/3m aircraft for the Axis war effort. After WWII the factory continued to produce the same aircraft but re-badged as the Amiot AAC-1. The "Toucan" was used by the Armee de l'Air and the Aeronavale until the early 1950s in Vietnam and Algeria. While the aircraft produced after WWII didn't have a rear gunner, all the current models of the JU-52/3m have rear gunners. Fire Fox may produce a civilian/transport version in the future. Gloster Javelin FAW Mk.9 No.5 Squadron New panel lines and squadron markings for this terrific old girl. I've borrowed Syrinx's original base camo (with a few tweaks). I've also included a new bmp file for the Javelin tanks. Just drop it into your Weapons folder to overwrite the original. Enjoy LloydNB -

de Havilland DH89 Dragon Rapide 100 Squadron, Israeli Air Force 1948 The IDF/AF operated 7 Dragon Rapides in 1948. Mostly operated for personnel and cargo transport, the Dragon Rapide were also be used as an air ambulance. Lacking bombers, the IDF fitted machine guns firing out the doors and aircrew pushing small bombs from the cabin. A typical load was 16x 20kg bombs. Some Dragon Rapides had bomb racks added but its not clear how many. Strictly speaking all remaining Dragon Rapides were not concentrated in 100 Squadron until 1949. Some of the details of the original A-Team skin have been retained. Special thanks to allenjb42 for the background material. Enjoy LloydNB -

Hunter F73 Royal Jordanian Air Force *******For WoI******* I was never very happy about the colour of the stock Hunter skin. It looks fine for a gate guardian that has sat outside in all-weathers for 20 years, but not for a Hunter on active service during the 1960s. This skin is more like the Armourdave skin with a few added decals to make it more representative of a RJAF Hunter in 1967. -

Ju-88A11 - or A4(Trop) Stab./LG1 - Libya 1942 This is the third in my collection of Ju-88s flown by Lehrgeschwader 1. This is a 95% original skin representing one of the JU-88A11 units that operated over the North African desert. Only the bomb bay door and gear door interiors from Gramps' original KG51 skin have been retained. The codes for only 4 aircraft are included. LloydNB -

Beechcraft Bonanza V35 IDF 1948 The IDF/AF operated 3 Bonanzas from 1948 through to 1952. Two were purchased in South Africa from donation from the local Jewish community and flown overland to Israel. The other was bought in the Netherlands. Initially bombs were dropped by hand out the cargo door but later racks were added. There were even experiments with strafing - a crewman would lie on the floor of the cabin with a machinegun out the cargo door while the pilot circled the target. There are no hardpoints to the model so no bombracks but its fine for recon. ################# The underlying panel lines come from the paint kit for the Beech Bonanza V35B (Flightsim) by Alexandre Cadel. Thanks go to allenjb42 for his help doing the skin for this one. Wing Palette shows a green and tan Bonanza, while the surviving photos show a single mottled colour (tan or green) over the aluminium base from earlier in 1948. I've chosen the latter. LloydNB -

Texan Syrian Air Force 1948 This is a set of decals and a repaint of the SNJ_6 by Rob "Bunyap" McCray. The original Texan skin by Pappychksix. This skin comes from the Harvard/Texan by Alphasim for Flight Simulator X (base textures by Frank Safranek) and a re-paint by Henry William. My contribution has been to adapt it for SFP1 and so is minimal. I've used some poetic licence about the colour scheme. France provided Syria with Canadian built Harvard/Texans shortly after WWII. They were used in 1948 quite successfully in the ground attack role. LloydNB -

Lancaster 8 Squadron, Egyptian Air Force (Inchas) 1956 This is mini-mod with a set of decals and a repaint of the upper surfaces of the original Lancaster skin by Gramps. All credit for the rest of the skin goes to him. The EAF had 10 Lancasters at the beginning of the Suez Crisis. Most were caught on the ground and destroyed by FAA Seahawks. Weapons loadout has been changed to WP and the guns changed to 50 cal. The original aircraft were supplied without guns and the Egyptians scrounged weapons off surplus WWII aircraft. While I can't change the model to reflect the fact that there were only two 50 cals in the rear turret, I have de-gunned it. -
