  3. Thanks I knew it would be something simple. I put it down to getting older.
  4. I know I've been promising this skin for some time, but it REALLY is nearly finished.

    skin

Lobo You are welcome to use my skin. Drop me a note if you want the original layered file. It will look better if the shadows on the fuselage show up on the squadron marking. Also have look at my Japanese Army BR.20 skin. It will convert to the Spanish Civil War quite easily. Again, you can have the layered file. If you need any help, just ask. Lloyd
  6. That's looking fantastic. I love the detail.
  7. We are lucky in New Zealand to have brilliant museum dedicated to WWI aviation. Here a couple of photos of a exhibit that shows Australian soldiers cutting the fabric from the Red Baron's DR.1 and stealing the boots off the fallen airman. More photos to follow.
  8. A terrific addition!! An Air America skin anyone?
  9. Ok, its not a screenshot. I took this photo at the Omaka Musem - a must see for all fans of WWI aircraft. This only a model, but there's full sized Etrich Taube replica. They also have a few gems such as Eddie Richenbacher's flying suit and Ernst Udet's Blue Max and the replacement he had made.
  10. Hi ed My install has the disks for the engines to be mapped onto that are too small. The engines don't cover the whole space inside the cowling. No rush. I've got plenty of work on and won't be ready to release any skins for a while yet. Lloyd
  11. Well, I've started work on some panel lines for the Potez. Could you have a look at the mapping for the engines please Ed.
  12. Sorry ED Mistakes happen when you're trying to rush off a quick message without the boss catching you!! Cheers Lloyd
  13. Ok Ken I'll have ago at some hangar and loading screens. The skin you have will be fine for a release. Which one in the Potez family is it? It looks like a 633 (fighter-bomber)! And are you planning any others? Lloyd
  14. These might be of some help.
  15. We have couple of the bit-players on the RAF/BEF/FAA side. The Fairey Albacore and DH Tiger Moth both took part (in a limited way) in the Battle of France. Both are counted in the machines lost during the battle. Does nayone kow what the Tiger Moths of the BEF communications flight looked like? If they were in camo, what colour were the bottom wing surfaces? I presume they weren't "training yellow". Lloyd
  16. But what about the Ju-88? Most of the pictures I've seen only show the individual aircraft letter on both outer parts of the underwings eg A+ and +A. When was this syle of marking introduced and was it universal or only found in particular units? I'm confused. Lloyd
  17. Veltro2k I always loved the look of the Br693. Some aircraft look like a deadend and others seem to have real potential. For me, the Br 693 always fell in the second group. How's the Potez family coming along? When am I going to get my hands on one? As well as the Vichy Hawk skin, I'm working (slowly) on a Ju-52/3m (Luftwaffe 1940), another D.520 (AdA) and an update to my Ju-88 (Lehrgeschwader 1) skins. It keeps me out of trouble. Lloyd
  18. I'm looking forward to the Stringbag. No pressure, take your time and do it right. Lloyd
  19. For only the second time in its history, New Zealand has qualified for the World Cup. Tonight our heroic boys beat Bahrain 1-0 to earn a trip to South Africa. A terrific result. GO THE ALL WHITES!!!!!!
  20. Here's some photos of the gondola on the Potez 637. And these drawings show its position.
  21. The AdA operated the following variants of the Potez 630 during the Battle of France - 630 C3 fighter with HS-14A/B engines - 631 C3 fighters with GR 14M4/5 engines - 633 B2 light bomber - 637 A3 reconnaissance. The numbers at the end of the designation indicate the number of crew. The Potez 637 (there was only one squadron) is interesting. It had a gondola under the fuselage which could be modelled in the same way a belly tank is. I'll scan a picture during the weekend.
