Aircraft get old (F-15's), complex propulsion system (harrier), over use/environment (Iraq/Afghanistan). I was watching a news report on F-16's in Iraq. The report stated that the aircraft are getting a major service every 2 months. this service usually takes place every 2 years at home. So many reasons for crashes. People don't have wings or gills. So submariners and pilots get all of my respect. At least the Devil Dog made it and will be able to provide CAS to the Leathernecks in the field on his scheduled deployment.

Nope, my coworker Tom is, I can't even say the things he says or i will be damned for all eternity I think (at least by my wife). I was just browsing through some old aviation books from when I was a kid. West's Modern Fighters. I came across the Buc and remembered how when I was a kid, for some reason I loved it (and the A-6). LOVE THE BUC. It is definately one of the one's i would make if i wa a gifted modder, had the necessary modeling software, etc. To those that do, THANKS AGAIN. If and when the Buc comes out I will be one more step towards nirvana, paradise, whatever you call it. And, keep your banana's to yourselves.

My current system has 512mb ram. It has two slots, One chip. Will upgrading to 1gb in one slot and the existing 512 mb ram help loading speeds for the TW series? I could go 2gb in the future. Thanks for any input. Is it worth the $100.

My A-4EL Finally got humped. You know when you can't make something work or solve a problem? Well, I walk away from it for 6 months and then out of the blue the wife goes on a business trip and I get it done. Much thanks to all of those that helped back in august.

I think it is safe to assume that this is the old normal for carrier and other maritime ops going forward. Honestly, I think it is a disgrace that they get that close before picking up their shadows though.

I just downloaded them all The sorted them in to folders based on country. I have a WWII folder in a larger folder for all of my TW mods. Worked for me.

When I was a kid my grandad made me a 1/48 scale Monogram model of each (working landing gear and folding wings). These are my two all time favorites. Coming down in buckets today so, I decided it was a good time to back everything up. I have an external drive and burn it to dvd as well. I have been lucky so far as I have never lost a HD (knock on wood, or at least laminate that looks like cheap wood.)
