IL-2 has never had a quick start mission you have to go into quick mission builder and make your own mission.You must be new to IL-2. I'm running my game at 1600x1200x32 and it looks great.

You could from an external I've got most my games on externals and they run fine.I don"t think you could find a big enough flash drive to put a game on, their mostly just for storage and if you did find a big enough one it would probably cost just about the same as an external.

Take the d3dx_26.dll out of your system32 folder a put it in the main FE game folder then try restarting your game.

What do you have your game patched to?

Same thing happens to me to with the SU-27SM only my version is unpatched and running on windows XP with service pack3.Do those steps apply to windows XP also?
