  1. Now that I have my main computer back up and running I will be starting work again on my 1986 Libya campaign. "Operation Thunderhead"
  2. Rain-soaked crew chiefs from the 90th Aircraft Maintenance Unit prepare to launch F-22A block 30 no. 05-4097 assigned to the 90th Fighter Squadron on September 19th, 2007. F-15E no. 88-1699 and F-22A no .#05-4090 fly over the coast of Prince William Sound, Alaska, April 20, 2007. Both aircraft carry 90 FS markings. In case of BRAC 2005 the Raptor replaced the Strike Eagle which moved from Elmendorf AFB, Alaska, to Mountain Home AFB, Idaho.
  3. LOL ok, count NASA F-22 Raptor units (so far).. 43 FS 27 FS 90 FS 94 FS 192 FW 302 FS 325 FW 525 FS
  4. I guess the question you ask can be sumed up in two questions..... How many F-22 Units are there? How many YF-23 units are there?
  5. Take your time. She looks beautiful. Don't let anyone press you into moving faster.
  6. According to what info I have seen it will be multi-role focusing more on ATA than ATG
  7. I don't know if you already know this or not, but I found this recently on F-22 block numbers.... The Block 10 Initial Operational Capability configuration, to be fielded this year, will be multirole, with the option of four AMRAAMs being replaced by GBU-32 JDAMs. This provides an analogous deep-strike capability to the F-117A, but is more survivable. The Block 20 configuration is the baseline for the Global Strike Task Force (GSTF) fleet, and will include JSF common radar modules, a dedicated high-speed radar processor, and COTS technology CIP processors. The GBU-39/40 Small Diameter Bomb is introduced in the Block 20 aircraft by 2007, together with high resolution SAR radar modes, improved radar ECCM, two way voice and data MIDS/Link-16 capability, improved crew station software, and improved electronic countermeasures. The Block 20 provides a robust ground attack capability using the GPS duided Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) The Block 30 configuration, planned for 2008-2011, extends the growth seen in the Block 20. Side-looking radar arrays provide a significant ISR capability in the aircraft along with enhancements to provide full Wild Weasel air defence suppression and time-critical target engagement capabilities. A Satcom terminal will provide continuous network connectivity during deep-strike profiles. This will include the addition of the APG-77(V)1 radar adding ATG radar mode to the existing Block 20 model. The new radar enables the Block 30 to generate Synthetic Aperature Radar (SAR) maps to self-identify ground targets and employ precision munitionsagainst those targets. In addition, Block 30 aircraft will add a new ground attack weapon: the Small Diameter Bomb (SDB). A Block 30 configured F-22 can carry eight SDB's. Block 35 aircraft will will have all the capabilities of Block 30 and add two new air-to-air missles and an advanced tactical datalink. The AIM-9X is an improved IR missle with much improved infrared seeker sensitivity and greatly enhanced post-launch agility. The AIM-120D is the Department of Defence's most advanced medium-range radar-guided missle and is currently in development. The new datalink will provide improved interoperability with theatre aircraft and enhanced situational awarness. The post-2011 Block 40 aircraft is intended to be the definitive Global Strike configuration, with incremental enhancements to Block 30 additions providing full sensor networking, range enhancements, integrated ISR capabilities, and a Helmet Mounted Display similar to the JSF. Longer term planning for a Block 50 envisages an Electronic Attack variant, replacing the lost EF-111A Raven. A stealthy stores pod for JDAM and SDB is under development to enable carriage on external pylons. As a strike aircraft the F/A-22A will have similar internal payloads to the JSF, but will be vastly more survivable due to better stealth.
  8. Beautiful plane. I love the Typhoon. Great to see the hard work and progress! Thanks for the hard work. After reading the September issue of Air Forces Monthly I have a new idea for a modern campaign when this baby comes out. Typhoons, Harriers & Tornados.... RAF in action kicking some butt!
  9. I was just about to post that.... lol They have a flyable B-29 all the B-25, Avenger, B-17G. The B-24 at this point is not worth it. No real cockpit so you still have to fly outside the plane. You also have to have the following mod for them to work properly. http://allaircraftarcade.com/forum/downloa..._Version_09.rar This adds the following as flyable also. P-36A-3 P-36A-4 Fi-156 U-2VS Me-210Ca-1 Me-210Ca-1ZSTR Hs-129B-2 Hs-129B-3_Wa MS406 MS410 MS-Morko Bf-110C-4B N1K1-J N1K1-Ja The Avenger is a sloppy plane to fly. She has terrible flight characteristics for some reason and is a pain to use. The B-29 is nice, but I wish they woul dhave made it so they used a HE-111 or even the B-25 cockpit for it. An A-20 cockpit for the B-29 seems a bit weird.
  10. Ok I am back from my three weeks away in Minnesota. Time to get back to work on this. Turtle has given me some good feedback I just need to get into working on it now. I will hopefully have some updates for this soon.
  11. No way! I call dibs on her!!! Damn hot.... and a redhead to boot. She has the whole package.
  12. My reply, love and loyalty can be sized up in one picture......
  13. HOW ABOUT THEM ROCKIES!!!!!!!
  14. Just shoot me a pm with your findings on the map. I will get you a link to download the Alpha of the campaign.
  15. Mind if I ask where you are getting all these great textures from you are using on your tiles? I am working on redoing the textures / tiles for the Middle East (Libya) and much of my grassy areas with trees come out blurry when rendered in game. I am doing them on 512 x 512 tiles. Any help would be appreciated.
  16. Decals or painted directly on the skin? I have also noticed that low rez skins tend to distort when loaded in versus a high res skin.
  17. The Operation Thunderhead 1986 Campaign I am doing for the Libya map has 4 flyable A-7E units!
  18. I am still anxiously waiting to see if the Rockies can do it and the Padres fall short.
  19. Ok, I am ready... I think.... to do some basic alpha testing on this. I need just a couple volunteers for this. I will send you the link to download the campaign files. Right now it is just set up as a USN campaign. I will prob have three or four people... if that many are interested... check things out for a couple weeks and give me some feedback. WHile this is going on I can focus on the Libya map updates. Thanks
  20. YA BABY!!! Navy 31, Air Force 20 WOOT one step closer to the Commander In Chiefs Trophy!!!!!!
