Dave, thanks for those links. That really helped. If you can get it released, great, that would make my life easier, and give me more time to work on the F-5-2000. If not, well, I guess Ukraine is going to have to wait to get weapons for it's aircraft for a different part of this long term project... EDIT: Wow, my internet is slow today!

Does anyone happen to have good, reliable info on the Turkish F-4E-2020 or F-5-2000 upgrades? I could use it since I'm trying to mod those two aircraft for a long term campaign I'm working on. Most of the stuff I have on the F-4E-2020 just says that it is able to carry smart bombs and designation pods. But, does it carry ARMAAM or have onboard ECM or countermeasures? What about a HUD? As to the F-5-2000, I could use just about anything on it, as all I have is that IAI is the one doing the upgrades.

SLUF, although I do like the Scooter as well. SLUF has the advantage in avionics and payload, plus, it has an M61 Vulcan. A-4s are fun, but the SLUF must have replaced them for a reason...

If your flying a Thud or gunless USAF F-4, hit the deck as soon as Hanoi is on the horizon, or your wingmen start calling "SAM launch!" or your RWR lights up. Hit that burner and get to your target, use what ever form of bomb dropping you like (but dive bombing in that is quite dangerous), light the burner again and LEAVE, on the deck.

I'm not saying that they wouldn't, but home-on-jam just sounds like a late 1980s creation.

Probably has to do with the limited strength of early ECM pods. Otherwise, I'm thinking that the SA-6 has a home on jam. But that seems too modern for that SAM.

lol, that's when I dive down to evade the SA-2s or SA-6s, then get cought in a KS-19 or ZSU-57 flak storm with a MiG-21 on my tail, and dive further down to just get smashed by a ZPU-2 or ZU-23 or a ZSU-23 tracer storm. WOV, WOE, WOI, and even SFG, it always happens.

Guess you haven't met the Shilka yet slybelle....
