For whatever reason, the first time I looked at this thread, there were only three pictures (not of which I recollect ever seeing). Now, the rest are showing up, and you're absolutely right. These pics have been published for over 60 years.

I thought it was a bit over the top how they threw themselves over the side to reduce ballast, but overall the air-to-air filming was exquisite for the time.

As much as I'd like to upgrade to 7, I just downgraded back to XP from Vista, and OFF is now running beautifully. I'm not going to mess with it now. When I build (or buy) a new rig, I'll upgrade then...

As you mentioned: As long as you're not wearing a decoration you did not earn, I fully support you collecting and/or displaying them. It provides a tangible link to the past, and is a respectable way to honor the memory of those that served and sacrificed. I've actually thought about starting a collection myself...

I'm contemplating a TIR5 purchase, but I'm on the fence. I was hoping some of you who have experience with TIR products might chime in and give some feedback, negative or positive. The cost of it is not the issue. It's more the efficacy of the product. IOW, does it make that big of a difference to your overall simming experience? How long does it take to become adjusted to it's use? Does it cause any odd sensations(ie: queasiness)?

Best Buy in OKC has an apparent value-version of CFS3 for $9.99. It has specific Best Buy advertising on the jewel case insert stating that a free game is included with the purchase. I could give a crap about that. The label does say, however, that the disc is a PC-CD (not a DVD). Has anyone used this version? I was hoping that it would eliminate the need for me to use my original disc in the drive whenever I fly. If not, I'll guess I'll breakdown and buy the DVD version from Ubisoft.
