Another item to pay attention to is the quality of your wingmen, I change the roster choices and bring the best so when I tell #3 and #4 to engage ground they perform better, that goes for #2 as well.

I release my snakes at 1 mile to .5 mile from target depending on my altittude. my altittude is never more than 500ft and im at full throttle

snakes are high drag they fall slower so you can beat feet out of there you can get lower and closer but please be faster!

That is my whole problem, getting away from the target area. if i stay low, i have to try and dodge the many guns that are everywhere as soon as i pull up to avoid the guns it is SAM city

what plane are you flying? what missile? with semi active homing missiles you need to keep your nose on them til impact remember all early SAH missiles were not that reliable so you might have to fire more than one. Welcome to our humble sight it is always great to have real pilots here.

I too tried the 111 and suffered the same results although I made it to the target AND destroyed it but was hit by SAM's on the way out I used the 'low and Fast' profile but the mobile SAM's, ZSU's and AAA were too much.

Wow! nesher says the A-4 was not a legendary aircraft? How was it not? With out the A-4 the nam navy airwing has no light attack craft. What go with all A-6's?
