Wow! After reading these posts it just reminds me how old I've become! By 03-80, I'm starting Ranger School. I remeber ALL the songs mentioned in this thread! (and then some) I also remember the R&B songs of the time as well.

I felt the same way, I was thinking it was a glitch hearing the "SAM launch" call til I f6 to see my wingie's plane on fire WTF? Man! we are not safe even on our own practise range!

ok, I'm at dual core 3.2ghz and just got her up to 3ghz of ram with room for 1 more gig i'm at my second vid card 1st was 256mb ATI pci-e, now I have GF8500gt pci-e with my eye on a 1gig card. (I need a life!) -
Something strange has happened at the Range in SFgold, While practicing my SEAD skills with a wingie, one of the other sam battery lanched a sam and hit my wingman! Is this supposed to happen? This was a first for me. Has this happened to anyone else?

Make sure you give some specific info like which title you are talking about SF, WoV, WoE or WoI, which terrain are you speaking of? second check the knowledge base for info on how to add terrain, third check the ReadMe file inclosed with the terrain you downloaded to see if any issues are present if you try to use it in a title it was not designed for.

I have a question for the Mirage Factory and Column 5, (or for anyone that might be in the know) What is next for them? any new planes or Campaigns? what are they planning to release?

Rgr that! For me it was not the politics but the men I served with. There are no finer human beings on this planet than the ones that choose to serve. Even if you were drafted many did the absolute best job they could do. My dad and brother were lifers in the USAF, my sister served in the Navy the other two sisters married service men.

Frist of all, To all of those incredible men and women who have put on a military uniform, I thank you! "Freedom Is Never Free" It is amazing that there are those very special men and women that are willing to pay the price for others that they don't even know so they may live as they so choose. Words can never begin to describe the feeling of pride I have when I think about our young men and women in our armed services!

Combat damage to my hands have left them in very bad shape, my wife types for me but she has her limits in understanding the whole process. In any case I still have a good time here.
