I was wondering where can I find a F-4b? I went to column 5 but nothing and I see that we don't have one here. Hey column 5, any plans to produce one? any help will as always be greatly appreciated.

I get kind of tired of the same style of voices (that 'cowboy' twang) but hey, there is so much more that is enjoyable that I don't make a big deal of it. I'm going to search the sound mod section to see if i can find some voice mods. I have noticed that different planes make different engine sounds so at least they don't all sound the same.

Could it be that your system does not meet the required RAM? I think that you should have 1 gig of RAM, now this may not be the source of the problem but if you say that all else is good...I could be mistaken, if you have played any other of the TW series with no problems.

Will this info lead to new FMs for The Mighty F-4? Man this is sure exciting! (at least for me) I hope that we will be blessed with some F-4 specific single missions, even some "what if" missions would be soooo cool! I do not have the talent to produce such missions, but, I hope some of you do.

go to downloads, WOI/WOE/WOV, then find the correct sub-section then find the file you are looking for. Ok i looked in Deuces files but it seems that the tileset is no longer available. I'm going to look up the carrier lights file. I could not either file so I'm assuming that they are no longer available.

Thank you so much Mr. Wagsled for your time and insight. It is a Honor to have you here with us! I thank you for your service in Nam and for any stories you may share with us in the future. My ears are always open for you. For those of you that have the talent to design missions, you may want to hopefully talk with Mr. Wagsled and come up with some F-4 missions (just a thought)

Carrier take-offs on single missions...

Also if you choose a Navy plane and select start from runway you should start from cat on the carrier. -
I like the over all toughness of the AI. I have yet to complete a campaing without being blown out of the sky while on a SEAD or Strike mission. A2A is not too tough as long as I fly smart.

War for the Water is the only one i do not have and i have yet to get a CTD in any of the others maybe because I keep getting my butt blown off after like the 3rd or 4th mission. In any case I plan to get your War for the Water after TK is done with the bug fix.

Are you talking about single missions? If so you can choose a Aircraft that is not Israel but you must first download it so it will be available in the drop down menu. like a USAF F-4, download it into WOI and in the single menu it will be avaliable and you will be able to choose a lot of different countries and the squaderns that go along with that country.

This is yet another great reason I love this community! To Actually be able to read some comments from F-4 drivers and folks that know about her capabilities and faults is priceless! To tell the truth, I love the Mighty F-4! I'd say that i have just about ALL of them from every site i can find. I also use the info from you guys to help me in my fight against migs and my love of mud movin!

Your best bet is to look in the Knowledge Base it is broken into sub divisions so you can easily find your answer there. And whenever you find a file you want to download please read the readme text that comes with it. By doing so it will save you a lot of headaches

I fly the F-4 a LOT and have found that if you do not keep your energy up, you find that it is a tough go, I never try to out turn migs i just take them into the vertical on AB or make sure that im at a great altitude before diving into them, make a pass then blaze away from them. I really love the F-4 in strike missions cause she can carry a big load.

Indeed! takin your ac down in the weeds is NOT cool when there are ZSU's of ANY type around. Like i said before, the pilot is more than likely toast! the best that one could hope for is in lo and fast with mav's takin out the ZSU's and cluster bombing everything else while you pop chaff and flares.

Jeez! you are still flying straight and level? My ac would have been in a pretzel shape trying to get under the sams and radar! can you say gopher? lol well you survived TWO sam shots without even breakin stride

My guess is that you go as HIGH as you ride will take you, then let it go as you hit the AB and beat feet out of dodge. -
I too know the pain of attacking the Comm Bldg, My adventure was in a F-4 (flight of 4) carrying LGB-10's (yes the big ones)all the perameters were met but after dropping them and looking in the rear view...nada I could not believe it! They missed! I then told my wingie to attack my target but he was promptly shot down I learned from that to always carry a backup load just in case.

It's targets like these that blow me to bits. maybe a VERY fast lo level attack run with Mav's? how about cruise missle attack? Shrike to take out the radar then CBU's to mop up the rest? in any case will more than likely end up toast.
