  4. The french and britsh helmet are a fairly obvious mistake, I always checjk the link to check there are no misassociation by the search engine Every french who attended school at the age of 8-10 (at least before the 80's) know about the legend of the "Taxi de la Marne", but actually only around 3000 soldiers were so transported Check "bataille de la marne" in the text of the link below, and you will have nice pictures of the battle : https://www.flickr.com/photos/39887688@N02/8209420142/in/photostream/
  5. The top pictures are not from the Marne time I think (helmets), the last one, I don't know

  12. Some figures from a "Le Monde" article in France (8th Sept) : Around 1000 people were "are implied" in a case where someone wanted to go to fight in Syria Of them 346 are effectivly fighting. I have also heard 1000 french poeple in Syria, but on at least 2 occasions they were misquotoing the "Le Monde" source. On the other hand, the "Le Monde" figures are based on "public cases", they do not take into account "unrevealed" cases, and there is no estimate of the "real number" 60 cases of "under eighteen" including 20 fighting in Syria. When a new fighter arrives in Syria, he is systematically jailed for brainwashing and to detect spies at "Ostages Factory". Nemmouche (the terrorist who attacked the jewish museum of Bruxelles) worked in the "Ostage factory" and was known to be particularily violent.
  13. I thought I had understood the same but could not believe it.
  14. This time, it was too late. But we saw the cat chasing a living bird, there was with feathers all over the room !!. I never thought such a small sparrow could have so much feather. We "freed" it, and the bird flew away I never thought such a small sparrow could still fly having lost so much feather !!!
  15. I love those japanese camo
  16. My cat is submitting a claim for confirmation : (I sometimes think of this picture when I fly a VPAF Mig in SF2:V)

  22. Post deleted, too much "politically sensitve" and I don't want to make politics
  23. It should not be able to cope with a109E It can ba rated as a "sport plane". Also note that no plane was delivered to Finland, it is a false legend.
  24. Basically, in France, we know that once or twice a week, would be jihadists are arrested. (https://fr.news.yahoo.com/recruteur-jihad-syrie-arrêté-samedi-à-nice-135850237.html, for instance) We are obviously not aware of covert operations but we do not officially know the number of people going to Syria. Please also note that just like in most countries, 95% of the muslim in France are good people, trying to live honnestly, as best as they can and most of the time well integrated in the french society, whatever some persons are trying to tell you. But saying so does not mean that we can ignore the 5 remaining % !!!.
