There's also something I saw that sparked my intrest on the topic..I saw a video in which some fighter tried to lock on with heaters on a B-52 that was trailing them like mad...anyway he couldn't launch as the indicator on the HUD constantly went on the flares and not on the plane. Mind you it was a rather old video and they were VERY close...

Yeah we also have 7-8 subjects a year, but too many exams are like: Super hard written test in which you practically have to quote pages from the book, only to qualify for brain melting oral exam... Thankfully some professors are humane enough to make oral exams simbolic IF you push through the written one...

Dave is talking about new feature introduced into SF2 series that enables the game to be ran in DX10 mode IF the user has DX10 capable hardware and operating system. This feature has to be enabled via the *.INI edit and if all requirements are met it often leads to 100% performance improvement, yes the FPS get doubled However that code path is not finished yet, and while other stuff is not so important, on of the major problem in that mode is that HUD's don't show up... That's why some of have been campaigning for it on TW forums :) The games work perfectly normal in default, DX9 mode :)

I think if he goes SP add-ons, Russian planes are way to go! Reasons: 1.) Nearly every major,medium or even minor western plane is either made, or WiP(often a late one) 2.) Many times in past people have asked for the opposing force 3.) In case of multiplayer game some time in the future he would already have a finished art material Now personally I would eat my shorts for nicely done Floggers, that would be sweeeeeeeeeeet, or maybe even some exotics like Tu-22 or Su-24... I also think that if TK decides to take that road to check on what's available in terms of 3rd party, as time goes by the 3rd party is shining with more and more quality, quite often going over the stock TW stuff and most of the time atleast as good....

Yes with Oct2008 patch all titles could work perfectly fine in Vista and now the funny stuff, a major feature of Vista aka DX10 is not fully supported because TK thinks not many people would use it - funny eh? Anyway I do think new features, models, cockpits and other stuff are super great, but marketing theese games as Vista editions is a complete miss IMO
