Theres something like that already called dogfights or something like that, where they get computer simulations to re-enact the dogfights of the past and talk about the aircraft and maneuvers that where involved in the fight.

I can remember it was about 3 weeks til the end of our time at our school and we where having one last big match before the end of the year because we had exams the following two weeks. After about 5 mins of playing everyone on the field looked up in amazement because the Vulcan was flying over. It was one of the sights ill never forget. The noise it made, and how slow it was, was just amazing. The shape as well, just brilliant. Im glad to see it back. How come its going to Brize Norton and not to Waddington? Wasnt that where it was based once the re-work had been done?

Oh no its ok, he will get in touch with the defense force over the weekend. Thanks anyway

Dont suppose you would know this, but my friend wants to join up but has a nut allergy. Would he be able to join the ADF?

Sweet man, hope you have fun with it, its easier to fly with a joystick, and more enjoyable. Happy B-day by the way

that would be such a fun job working on an aircraft carrier. Especially with the US. ON board with Hornets taking off on deck, man what an experience that must be. Suppose it would kind of become a pain in the arse after a while though, especially when you are trying to sleep -
Nope i havnt been given anything yet, i just sent off my medical report today back to the recruiting center so ill hopefully hear something from them this week about my fitness test. After that, its enlistment then off to RAAF Base Wagga for basic training and employment training. All together that should take just over 60 weeks. Nope, im not really into the whole university thing. I do alot of leadership around school so they said that was a big plus but if i was going for direct entry pilot wait until im like 18 and try to get some flying done privately. Im really looking forward to it. Thanks for all your support guys. Oh and thanks for that link haha. Now i can understand what my dad is sayin when he comes home or talks to me about the ADF

Yeah i was going for pilot, but it turns out i have to complete year 12 yet and there would be no certainty that i could get in going direct entry pilot, as most people who do go in direct entry already have their PPL. So im going to do this for a while because it was my second choice and has been throughout my life. Also, to be a pilot you need a type of maths called Maths B. It was a big pressure on me because it was so hard. So after i got offered this job i changed out of it into an easier maths. Im going to get my PPL when im in the air force, then after 6 years ill go for pilot again.

Went for my interview last week and they have formally offered me a job as an Aircraft technician Just got to get a small medical issue checked out by a specialist and im good to go, well thats if i pass my fitness test. 6.5 on a beep test. Hopefully if i get the job i want to be working on either the Super Hornet (should be on squadrons by 2010 if all goes to plan with production and stuff) or the Hercules, Apparently you get near enough double your salary if you get deployed, And the way i see it is that with the Hercules you will be deployed most of the time.

Today, we remember those heros of our allied armed forces who took part in one of the greatest amphibious assaults known to man kind. They made the ultimate sacrifice. Weither they be men on the boats who landed on the beaches, or men who dropped from the sky behind enemy lines, all where great men who achieved the unthinkable. R.I.P Men, forever will you be remembered

http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/liverpool-n...252-23797887/2/ Turns out those W****** who own us have put the club in debt by more than £359 million. Makes you wonder if the new stadium will be put on hold.

Weapons problem, have you run your weapons.ini through the weapons editor. If not, do that then save it in your weapons folder. Oh and welcome to the world of modding. Your in for one wild ride

Thank you bobrock, another quality piece. Cant wait to get my hands on it.

OK, i got an experiment sorted, im going to look at different household items, such as bubble wrap or a jacket and test their insulation capabilities. Ill keep you posted about the grade i get for it. The due date is 8 weeks away haha. And i agree about the whole maths thing, it just goes straight over my head, but if i get given an equation, ill be able to work my way round a problem. Even if it means re-arranging, which most of the time requires me to do it. I hate physics.

I think its called medal of honor vanguard, thats the only MOH game i know of, with exception of airborne, that you are a paratrooper

I loved this DVD box set, its just so well put together, the acting is brilliant and so is the cinematography. This is my favorite Mini series of all time. There is already a game out about it, kinda, you heard of brothers in arms? Those games follow the lives of men from the 101st airborne, and ever game is set in a different location. The one that has recently been released, hell's highway, is a great game, the command system in it is great, in terms of graphics, top notch. The only bad thing about it is the actual game play, its not fast paced like Call of duty is, but its still a bloody good game. Also, you have medal of honor airborne, which is a really challenging game actually. You are with the 82nd Airborne and do missions in: -Sicily -Italy -Normandy -Germany Jumping from the C-47 is the best bit, the rest is rather tricky. Problem with this game is that it is just so short. There are only 5 levels, although they are long and tricky, its not really worth getting, rent it out or something, just dont buy it. ***SPOILER ALERT!*** I think in level 4 when you have to assault the train yard you come into contact with a rather nasty Nazi elite. With a Thompson you would have to empty 3 magazines to the head to kill him, or 5 to the body. Its crazy, and their weapon is a MG-42 which is held with no support, which is near impossible to fire accurately without a turret below it.

haha ive looked at this, and some ideas seem interesting, going to talk with my teacher tommorow about them.

We have to do an EEI (Extended experimental investigation) on anything we want, and i just cant seem to come up with any good ideas, and its driving me mad, anyone here have any ideas? Im in Y12 by the way, so i know some of the technical stuff.
