Well, my Bachelor's Degree is in Occupational Education from another University. The Master's is in Aeronautical Science with an Aviation Education Technology specialization. Now that all the games are basically on the same level, I still like WOI the best, I think the stock campaigns are awesome and really represent the wars well. Next, the original Strike Fighters Project 1 campaign has always intrigued me, since it is fictional and during the Cold War (A part of history I am extremely interested in) the fact that all kinds of things can be explored interest me. I really don't like WOV, I like the era and the history of the conflict, I like flying scripted single missions, but flying a campaign where I fly up to bomb 1 fuel tank on an air base seven out of ten times kills it for me, even though this is probably how the pilots felt at the time. Although SEAD in a Thud is pretty fun. Wings Over Europe is what I put all my mods into, for the most part, but i rarely if ever play the campaigns. I am just so burned out on NATO vs.Warsaw Pact in Germany. Give me NATO vs Warsaw Pact in Norway, Turkey, Middle East, Antartica, anywhere I'm down, just don't have any interest in Central Europe at this point. However, I have to say my favorite Thirdwire "title" is the all inclusive Operation Tainted Cigar mod, that I have updated myself here and there adding new things that have been released since the mod. I have probably flown that campaign from all flyable squadrons. Most of my campaign flight hours are over Cuba. Edit: I also want to add I fly First Eagles a lot, I dig the simplicity and challenge of Great War air combat.

Well, that will not happen, considering the conviction still stands. All this means is they are not in jail anymore. Even a pardon would not have shown any malice or wrong doing by the prosecutor. This does not end here, they need to keep fighting to overturn the conviction (remove this from their records) when that occurs, then they can start looking at lawsuits and the like.

Is it really this bad? I didn't even know anything like this was happening until I was actually contacted to be recruited by the ADF after leaving the US military. They apparently are going after mid-level NCOs and company grade officers that recently left service in good standing in allied military pretty hard. All kinds of immigration laws are waived and all sorts of stuff it bent to get you in. I was amazed at all of it. Nothing against Australia, I just don't think morally I could fight for another country, and I have had enough of war for my lifetime, so I turned it down.

Pretty sure it is the entire military, I was contacted by an Australian recruiter and offered an "Overseas Lateral Transfer" Here is part of the email: I politely turned them down.

Honestly, of all the places I lived, it was the worst BUT the best, granted I never had to work on a flightline there in the winter. I went to High School there for pretty much the entire time I was in HS, formed a pretty tight bond with the people there, the other AF Brats, the town kids hated us so that bonded us more. But going to school from the base to the town in the winter (about 20 miles) was awful, I don't know how many times I almost ended up in the ditch driving to school. It was also fun when you would inform teachers of how Minot was a major nuclear target, and they would be in shock, and didn't know why anyone would want to nuke little 'ol Minot. Then you would have to explain Mutual Assured Destruction to them so they wouldn't freak out anymore. That was another thing, growing up with a father who's job it is to bring nuclear devastation to the Soviet Union, you learn a lot about nuclear war by default.

I may or may not have spent my after prom next to a Minuteman silo around Minot AFB, or was it a LCF? It was something of the sort. I don't remember, and I didn't have MIRVs on my mind either.

I was never in SAC, as it was (unfortunately) done away with before my time, but I grew up in s SAC family, and that is exactly what SAC was, a family. Just look at the "Glossy Eagle" program. I spent weekends with other kids doing crap to make the B-52s look good. I can't explain it for people that were not a part of it. But there was the USAF, then there was SAC. There were USAF dependents, then there were SAC dependents.

I completely understand why you did not know this, and I am not insulting you in any way, but reading that made me want to cry.

I wonder if the people in the Emergency Exit row actually paid attention to the briefing and knew what to do.

I always thought the EF-111 carried no armament, was I wrong about this?

I don't think it matters much if the a/c or crew survives if we have reached that level of conflict.

Oh you know, we are all just flying our red and white flags, dancing to Garry Owen, and laughing at everyone going down the trail to Hell while sipping from our canteens, you know, the normal.

That Su-25 game was pretty fun, I remember you had to translate a Russian word to English using the manual for copy protection. I also flew over Panama a lot in MiG-29.
