I was wondering if there is a possibility to change the dates for ANY airplane, i mentioned the GUNVAL sabre because i'm trying to set up the Korean war mod and when i drop the sabre in game it appears 1964 (or so) as begining date, do you, guys know how to change it and if there is something on the KB please point me where.

Hi, just to check that you have no virus: from a command prompt ping www.combatace.com, you should have a return IP of 67.212.178.218 , if you have something different, definetively you have a virus and messed your host file.

Hi, here is my best advice: 1) airbrush the model and be delicate. 2) look for model specific (like testors) gloss cote lacquer and applyit to the model; in this step i rather to use metalizer sealer. 3) apply the decals and once again be delicate; avoid leaving air bubbles and so on. 4) once again apply metalizer sealer, or gloss cote lacquer. 5) at the end use a flat lacquer to finish the model (unnecessary to tell you: let the model to dry completely) 6) voila!!! p.s. i ate a million of steps here so to get best results you can buy some modeling books which i did, so should you need assistance you can contact me. flogger23

SATA connector are the same for HDD in laptops and desktops, that will make your issue easier, no jumper configuration... Anyways i wish you the best of the lucks, because i'm leaving home. regards.

Look, no that i'm aware of (zero on linux), now, going back to your HDD there should be an opening to extract just the HD and is nothing difficult, i tell you this, it will be more difficult to open a desktop than remove the hdd from that laptop, but anyways is easy, just give it a shot, you have a desktop, don't you? you will see.....

Look fubar, the tool we use here is ontrack easy recovery v6.0, and it works ok, so far, (most of the licences we have here at work aren't free). Now respect to the SATA drive, is as easy as it can be, just remove it, no need to jumper config, just remove it, and is compatible to SATA capable desktops, as i said before i'll be here if any need you have, greetings.

As fubar said before there are adapters to connect the HD, but if your computer is a SATA capable desktop you can connect the laptop hd directly and try to recover the data, if have any questions, PM me, this is my everyday work.

Have you, guys, flown a mission in wich you REALLY need fighter support and all of you know what will be the answer from red crown, it would be nice that they can divert or even send fighter support when one really needs it.

Just delete step 2 and you'll be all right, read the readme, i think (i'm not in my pc), the F-4DLORAN.lod goes somewhere else (the main aircraft folder or the weapons folder don't remember exactly) but pay attention to the readme, and, don't forget download the F-4D LORAN two parts to get it working 100% working. Cheers.

In order for you to succeed, you need to extract the .LOD file with our faithful .cat extraction tool, the one you can find here: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...mp;showfile=343 then look (if i'm not mistaken) for the Objectdata.cat in the game that is on (again if i'm not mistaken) Wings Over *\Objects, you'll get a list of files and (after some patience) look for the .lod file you need, extract it and copy it to the F-4D LORAN folder. Thats it!!! P.S. to get the mod working, make sure to read the readme and get the two parts for the LORAN F-4D's

Perhaps you can get some Lim-2 (Russian C-47), L-29 Delphin, Illushin-14, MI-8, MI-6 (if you can make them to hang MiGs it would be nice , the Chinese variant of the 2 place MiG-17, AN-2 Colt, and last but not least the Il-28 Beagle, so you can modify the to carry VPAF markinks, wouldn't you?
