Oddly enough right after it happened the USA nullified all debt owed to it by Russia. Who knows not trying to stir poop but that hole has always bothered me. Especially after hearing the story about the Memphis.
-
Point taken Fubar, I have no experience in diving or with ship wrecks. But, that hole was made by something going from outside to in..... just saying. Like Erik said the ole " Coke can with pencil trick." I don't see the point in having a guided torpedo that blows up on impact. I thought they blew up once they got inside. Where is a Torpedo Mate when you need one?!

I was afraid it was a coordinate issue. I will try it. Those BuNos I am working on are the actual ones used by VA-12 in '66-67. I think I wore a hole in the internet looking at pics and watching vids trying to get it right. Sometimes I go OCD on stuff! Ha! For some reason I just wanted to do up just one super right Scooter! Thanks for your help and mentorship!

Verified I had decal facing TOP..... no go. I know the decals are good because to test the position I dumped the flap decals from the Q into my A-4E_65/VA12/D folder after I tested them out on the Q itself. Still looks pretty BA, art imitates life! Working on the little ser. no. decals on the tail now.

No, those did not work. In the DATA INI under CONTROL SURFACES the node names are listed as Flap_Left and Flap_Right. I tried those also. Take a peep at my data and see if I am pulling a bone head or not! [Decal026] MeshName=Flap_Left DecalLevel=2 DecalFacing=TOP FilenameFormat=A-4E_65\VA12\D\numw Position=-1.55,-0.50 Scale=0.65 DecalMaxLOD=3 [Decal027] MeshName=Flap_Right DecalLevel=2 DecalFacing=TOP FilenameFormat=A-4E_65\VA12\D\numw Position=1.55,-0.50 Scale=0.65 DecalMaxLOD=3 Mind you this is just copied from the Q from the Falklands Mod.

I am trying to apply decals to the flaps on the TW SF2 stock A-4E 65. The A-4Q in the Falklands Mod has flap decals that work, but it is an older version and the mesh names and data do not work on the A-4E 65. Does any one know what the correct mesh names for the flaps are, or has anyone tried to apply decals to the SF2 Skyhawk flaps and could give me some advice? The pic below depicts the white numbers on the flaps I am trying to replicate. Thank you to all.

I am glad CPT Swenson got the award he rightfully deserved. There is a back story to the Ganjal battle that a lot of people do not understand. A lot of inter-service rivalry and a certain branch upset over their lack of MOH recipients. CPT Swenson showing professionalism, grace, and integrity rose above all that and if he wants to come back in then it is his decision alone to make. I hope this is what he wants. CPT Swenson is a hell of a soldier and optimizes the U.S. Army's example of the "quiet professional." Remember, the first casualty of war is the truth. http://www.mcclatchydc.com/2011/12/14/133134/medal-of-honor-inflated-story.html http://www.armytimes.com/article/20131015/NEWS05/310150018/Obama-presents-Afghan-war-vet-Medal-Honor

SBC-27A or C would not be distinguishable in the game because only difference is diff type of catapult. This is not a real big deal in the game except the SBC-27 or 27A just don't need the steam catapult effect because they where fitted with hydraulic cats. The C where fitted with a pair of steam cats. No C's with steam cats where used in Korea. CV's 9,33,34,39 where all rebuilt to ( or in 34's case finished to SBC-27 standard ) SBC-27A standard and used in Korea. The real work horses of the Korean war where the long-hull CV's 21,31,32,36,37,45,47. These remained close to their '43-'44 specs but where given a jet aircraft capable upgrade which was not given an official "SBC designation" which included improved hydraulic cats on the bow with vertical louvered JBD's. They also had their bridges semi enclosed. They did not have the new island with the escalator on the side and reworked funnel like the SBC-27 series did. They retained the four 5in. turrets. They did have the number of 20mms and port and starboard 40mm tubs drastically reduced. This pic is CV-47 USS Philippine Sea a non SBC long hull with the jet capable upgrade. Notice the vertical louvered JBD's This pic is CV-32 USS Leyte another non SBC long hull with jet capable upgrade. Notice semi enclosed bridge and other details. Please PM me if you need any info. You have my full support!
