what he said. when i do the airliner tga, i google image search a decal sheet and tack it in, to get the spacing correct. windows themselves are usually down then copied (and copied again, and copied some more) and placed on a layer above the decal sheet. -

had it myself recently, number on teh nose (facing front) of Dels Herks was flipping upside down and reversing in viewer, but came up fine in game. noticed after correcting the decal.ini of course but Jarek's totally right. the viewer is a great tool but doesnt totally replace looking it over in game -

too the best of my recollection fakepilot items do not animate. as for tga making, just do layers in a template and save like you would a skin. yeah the first go around is still a bitch, but then you have you layers set and can copy and recolor as needed. -

will send you decals in next day or so, did all serials (E, H and KC) and just limited them in the textureset.ini for the H going off the belief you are using Dels tempates, there is a layer towards the top of every template that says frame (as in the mesh frame). i have used it heavily on the wings to get everything lined up and it should help trim what extends under the wings -

thank you SgtSaunders. most research i had said the colors were the same as the USAF vietnam era colors, with the bottom being FS36622 Camo Gray. r but i agree, it seemed abit too brown in comparison when i used the hex value for that color. so a light shade of blue over the original color but not replacing the original. it isnt this blue -

this is an awesome thread. i always knew about the winder rails/pylons. most pics i'd ever seen had wingtip tanks, fuselage winders and bombs and rockets under the wings. never knew the fuslage could carry a2g ordinance outside a nuke centerline -
