  1. I would not as I would still be myself. And if I was not myself then what would be the point. I would love to see and hear the planes and pilots though. Lord Nelson, Jesus, Dinosaurs, earliest man and civilizations all these things and many more are part of my enquiring mind. Thus I read and enter into the experience with works of both fiction and fact, as we known it. Important to me. That is why I have such gratitude for the developement of OFF. I had not flown for close to 3 weeks and although I'm still having trouble with my joystick I had some marvelous experiences last night flying the Alb DIII OAW.
  2. Oh what fun that must be. I miss my army Port to pc please.
  3. Well it's no wonder they outlive us. Have a beer mates.
  4. Jammer28, I had to share this with the guys at SimHQ http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/2972171.html#Post2972171 Thanks again.
  5. That's right Uncleal. I all of a sudden had a number of problems. So I rolled back and mucked about deleting things along the way. I found OFF would not run, a fatal error of some type. So I reloaded OFF and then I got a message from Comcast of changing from McAfee to Norton so I had to make that change. Norton seems better and gives more tools. I deleted some more temp files and such. Anyway I've not flown for 2 weeks but everything should be "go" now and my laptop is running much better than it has for months.
  6. So totally awesome. Jammer you have a gift.
  7. Thanks! The sheet's alreet too.
  8. Yes Sir Dave. I'm not one to give you any lip. Besides I've got a spring training game on the radio. This is a pic of my first homebrew. Good stuff Label is a screenie from OFF HITR, of course.
  9. When flying OFF it might be nice if the monitors had a woodgrain bit of frame so as to look like struts. It almost does already in one of the pics.
  10. I have a "record" of him singing Sea Shanties. I quess I'm an antique.
  11. Very cool. A blessing.
  12. Hi Morris, if I may? Here are a couple pics I'm fond of.
  13. I am simming on a laptop and although it works for now I want to move my simming to a desktop. For one thing cooling can be an issue with laptops. If you are one for over-clocking you don't want to do that with a laptop. A dedicated simming desktop is really the way to go. Just my opinion and I'm not an expert.
  14. Fantastic! Best wishes for mother and child and for you
  15. I like what you've done iti. The panels look good to me with distinct grain direction/pattern. Don't expect any criticizm from me tho. I model some to and am nicht zo gut. Best wishes for a happy build.
  16. UK Widowmmaker, I can understand taking the chance because I love dogs too. Too bad the bitches barked and chased you out.
  17. Congratulations and thank you!
  18. I would but I don't get VH1 Classic in my package nor do I get the MTV actual music channels.
  19. Well he was man enough to say he was going to try it. OFF and fun? Always fun but yes, use any aids to make it most enjoyable. I don't always fly DiD. If a person flies with certain aids and views it can be very dramatic and almost like watching a movie. Use the TAC, when you encounter enemies target the enemy with the TAC and then cycle the views to get a close look at the enemy. You can see how they manouver to attack you or how they seem to be disinterested. Sometimes with TAC you can see there are planes in a distant furball. If you cycle targets on the TAC you can view the action from afar and see what kind of aircraft are involved and identify the squad and pilots. Old news maybe to old-timers but maybe some new guys have not done this yet.
  20. I fell-in with the wrong crowd. We were drunk disorderly and beligerant. After causing all manner of grief and being general ne'r-do-wells we were told to find a new hangout. Not having a mind of my own and needing to feed my OFF addiction I was more than happy to tag along. We were generously invited to this party and I hope we have not been too much grief for the CombatAce Mods/owners.
  21. Hey guys, I cracked open my first homebrew this last Saturday. The main ingredient was 6 years past it's "use by" date. Being the first it was a bit of an experiment and I had my doubts for it turning out well. The color is too dark. The taste is off, maybe even metallic and it did not carbonate so well. Below is the first pour. I've drank 4 so far. Maybe with a little more aging the taste will improve. On a much happier note I tried my second batch last night and it was fabulous. One of the best beers I've ever had. Not that I am an expert but it was delicious. Good alcohol content, great carbonation and tasted very good even at the bottom of the mug. A world of difference from Bud. Man I'm happy. I only wish it was a larger batch. I expect all the rest of my brews to be good as I will never use such out of date ingredients again.
