You have a better chance IMHO of surviving Scrambles if you delay your take-off for what might seem a long time, maybe a minute or two. By waiting you take away the enemy advantage, angle of attack I think it's called. Anyway rather than being a target with no advantage you then have a chance of engaging them while they are engaged with your squadmates and or "A" flight. You can get on their tail. Now it may seem that you are not doing your part and that your countrymen will perish but actually it's not real life and even if some pilots go down they will not be lost/dead. Just an approach if you want to better your odds with a campaign pilot you would hate to lose.

I may well be the only wierdo that might want to see the Observer role be fleshed out a tad more. I think it would be nice to have a proper career as an observer/gunner with your own stats and the like. It's mostly there now but could use a little tweaking. There's a whole nother game/roleplay to be had in there.

Me, I have no sides. I want to experience it all. I'm all American like OvS but my background is German and English. I do find much of my tastes lean toward British but I rather prefer German food.

Hi Javito. It's a noble Idea to have a long campaign and live to the end of the war. You can do that by selecting pilot never dies in Workshop. You can do a great many things in the Workshop it's your sim/game. AFAIK you can select "Light" in the Campaign Mission Frequency" box and have fewer daily missions or you can select time advance when you are in Campaign mode rather than going to the briefing room. Time Advance is just below the Briefing Room button. Enjoy yourself.

I use an external monitor with my laptop and the laptop screen is blank.

Are you current with all the patches? There used to be terrible turbulence in the clouds but that's been fixed. Please click on the banner at the top of this page and check for the patches and do them in order if you have not. Welcome to OFF btw.
