  1. Thanks, my sig/avatar change was overdue. My new job has kept me busy and tired. I haven't posted much lately but I check-in on a regular basis.
  2. Just imagine if we all could meet there. Lord, the fun we would have getting to know one another better in that setting.
  3. Heads up men. The CO reports new screenies are to be seen at the website. The new textures, water, clouds and cockpits are looking super!
  4. WoW! Thanks Pol. Moo cows and other goodness. More Gotha please.
  5. The Blue Max and Master & Commander would be my first two choices.
  6. Well then, consider me one happy waiter.
  7. That's inspiring Von Bauer. Nice flying.
  8. Pfalz had a license to build the Morane Salnier "L". They were used in small numbers, primarily by Bavarian units because the Pfalz company was located in Bavaria. I was just thinking if we have the Parasol why not make use of her for both sides?
  9. Smithy, thanks for relating your heritage and experience. God bless the fallen.
  10. I'm like Olham on this. I don't need and I don't want to nag. But I wonder which of the Gotha versions will be made and other things like will there be a Pfalz A1 version of the Parasol? Curiousity... and excitement. Not a bad combination.
  11. yes, a classic piece Lou. I have a print of "Closing Up" that I need to get mounted and framed. If it were a modern piece one might think it exaggerated. Since it is almost contemporary and by one who served I appreciate it all the more. Rather reminds me of some OFF encounters.
  12. Many thanks OBD. She looks great! Everything impresses, more than I expected. So we have Gotha's. I am enchanted by them for some reason. I look forward to seeing the skins for the big birds. I can't relate what it means to me to have these pics to verify my hopes for a future of even greater Over Flander's Fields goodness. Thanks for sharing the pics. I'll be watching for more. Best wishes toward your ongoing work and for you all personally.
  13. Happiest of birthdays and many more to come.
  14. I find the origins of sayings to be very interesting. As I began reading books dealing with life at sea aboard ship I became aware of how many sayings are still being used to this day by land lubbers with no idea of the original context. Thanks to all for sharing.
  15. As I recall Major Harold Hartney was brought down by MvR at least once. I read Hartney's "Up and At 'em" some years ago. I remember it being a solid read and I naturally reccomend it.
  16. I voted yes! Thanks for the query.
  17. Olham, nice poll, good idea. Not to be a critic but I think a few more choices were left out. I would like to have more french types especially early war. Such as Voisin, and Caudron types. Also if the theatre could be expanded to the north and south would be fantastic. We want it all don't we? I will be happy with what OBD offers I'm sure of that. OFF BH&H has so much to offer now that I am excited at the P4 prospects. OBD must have good things in mind or why would they bother themselves. I still think an Observer carreer would be interesting with option to become a pilot. Well, I made my choices and I am very interested to see the final results. Here's to the future of WWI Airwar simming .
  18. All the more honour for me to use the pic unless Lou objects.
  19. I feel for you GwynO. I am fortunate to be able to run Off on my laptop but I am looking forward to a dedicated gaming desktop in my future.
  20. I like what you've done there Von Bauer. I may try that. Thanks for sharing.
  21. I love your pic Hellshade and I have made a copy of it. Would you mind if I use it for a lable design for some beer bottles? The beer is a dark Ale I am calling Dark Victory.
  22. Very good. The word continues to spread.
  23. Too bad. We are half the world away but we have Pike here too. We call them Northerns. And the smallish ones are often called "hammer handles". Man I've done a lot of pike fishing but not in the past few years. Our waters are of good quality and the pike make for a fine meal.
