I guess we're all dedicated Campaigners as I too am not sure Only way is to try them both out ...but make sure you click "Pilot Never Dies" 1st ...then go back and fly Campaign -
What Car from your past was the most fun? Not necessarily the fastest or most powerful but the car that gave the most enjoyment Maybe cause it was so cheap that it could be driven carefree OK, I'll go 1st I spotted an episode of Wreck Rescue last night and it featured a 72 Capri (Brit version) It brought back memories of my Fun Car, a 77 Mercury Capri with a V6 Engine I was 22, working as a Security Guard Nights as I was still going to school I'd get off every night at 12:30 AM and had about a 10 mile trip home It seemed that every single night there was someone who wanted to race on the deserted Highway You'd think that Capri had 2 throttle positions, Idle and Floored Well winter came along but that didn't seem to effect the situation any Every corner was an adventure, fishtails, 4 wheel slides, whatever I could dream up It almost all ended one night when I was making my way towards the highway The roads were icy as could be, with broken chunks about and big snow drifts each side No matter, I came zipping along as usual Just before hitting the main road there was about a 45o turn then a stop sign, bracketed by 10 ft snow drifts I remember zipping along as if the pavement was dry and eyeing that corner Turned the wheel and hit the brakes ...NOTHING, no turn, no slowin down I hit that snow bank and launched right to the top, looked at the Naugatuck River down the embankment on the other side ... but luckily slid back down onto the road My antenna is somewhere up there to this day I guess My li'l Capri cost $2k, it wasn't my Hot Rod (70 Boss 302 Mustang), or my Sportscar (90 Miata), but it had some of each in it It was a pure ball o' fun with a crazy post teenager in it Interestingly, there is a side benefit of such a miss spent youth, I'm never nervous about wintertime driving to this day

Good show on getting HitR trebb! FFB is not very strong for me either Not sure if it depends on the stick or not I have a MS Sidewinder, strong MG Fire, and great Stall Shudder. but the Flight Control FFB is weak I can actually feel the stick go limp when the OFF Manager fires up cfs3 So you're not alone with FFB issues This might be a good issue to run a Poll on The Devs love Polls as an overall view of issues/opinions

I guess that would make it Bullethead's turn next then huh?

Done, it does add alittle better definition

OFF aircraft - would this be a valuable addition?
Duce Lewis replied to a topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
I voted "No" Btrit Se5's dive like Stukas Dr1 Controls lock up and you Dirt Nap And Albatross & Nupes lose their wings This seems realistic and true to their designs -

LOL! Lotta truth in that one I fear -
Ras: "I like it Duce. It sounds like a short career indeed" Thanks Ras, inspired by the majority of my pilots in OFF Thanks Olham/Dej, it was just a short li'l 'tongue in cheek' story You both are right, limericks are tough, but there are other ryhme schemes It reads best if you read the 1st two lines of each stanza, pause briefly, and then quickly read the last 3 I also wanted to emphasize the muddiness of the trenches and our poor lad's futile attempt to put them in his past I tried tp have 1 reference to the mud in each stanza There are 2 lines I'm still not happy with And to the Major he slid on "slid" doesn't convey that muddy thought Twisting and turning he flew "flew" just doesn't read well If you kind gents have any suggestions, I'd be happy to update

Is that you Pilotsden? If so, it's good to see you back in these parts! -
Here's my effort Destiny There once was a lad in Flanders Who despaired his life in the mud Looking to the sky He saw no reason why A transfer could not be arranged Documents were soon attained The Major he sought in the muck The request was made And soon he was bade All success in the upper reaches To training he marched off Now soaring far above the mire He was no fool Tops in his school Shiny wings now on his chest He roared into the fight Twisting and turning he soared But his foe was an ace And he lost the chase To plunge back deep in the mud

Never heard of that, but it sounds like a good idea I't'd be nice to actually control Artillary Fire with Flares when on spotting missions
-
Suggest you try 74 Squadron They fly the Viper version of the Se5a Performance is the same but there are some small differences in the craft that improve vision The tubular Aldis Sight is replaceed by a simple Ring Sight And the headrest is removed giving a clear view to the rear

The HitR Expansion Pack has an option for a unique Player Skin But it's a trade-off If you select Unique Skin in Workshop, then you loss the ability to specify Fuel and Ammo Load % The Devs are trying to find a fix where we can have both options

Nice website, lot of great pics I like that Alb DVa skin with the eagle Is it in OFF? -
Yes, the need to get out of there quickly probably outweighed his fear of ground fire MvR also stated "One is shot at and cannot shoot back. It is true, however, that a hit is rare" which shows he didn't respect ground fire accuracy that much Maybe this was a factor in his demise ...if the Aussies indeed got him! I find this read interesting as as it gives an insight into their tactics and the risks they were willing to take

You're ging to make an outstanding new addition to this forum! Glug, glug, glug, ...urrrp! Yep, that takes BH&H to the latest update There should still be a Gun Jam Control in Workshop somewhere Just click on the HitR Ad Banner above and it'll detail the Expansion Pack 6 more planes and several mods Well worth it ... but it's your nickel
-
Glad to help! It's a fine work Took another look at this line "Bathing my face in god" Did you mean "gold"?
-
Yes, Lothar seems to be the brash one ...at least here I've had many of the same feelings as MvR about being low behind enemy lines Maybe Cool ol' Manfred would have let the Tommie go I find it curious that Lothar didn't climb above rifle/MG range before heading home Hmm, was he more afraid of getting caught low by a flight of Brits, or more brashness?
