  1. Jenato, that piece is the "Adagio for Strings" by Samuel Barber. What UncleAl means is the title music of OFF, which is indeed by the composer Matt Milne.
  2. Thought that was normal on your blenders? Did you push her back home, and they let you through, cause no one wanted the pile of rubbish? Any time, Widow - it's so very entertaining to read and see, how you got your a*s kicked! Mmuahahahahahahaaaaa!!!!!
  3. Yes, steve, one of mine, yet in progress (the stripes don't join right on the back). Hasse Wind, they were from FA(A) 264, Emerchicourt. I must have clicked "optional flight" a 40 times to get FA(A) 250 with an acceptable distance of flight, but no way. Yes, five is right. But when you don't click and enlarge, it is tough, isn't it?
  4. OBD have really done a great job with the "fine tuning" of the landscape and camouflage colours. Here you see my escort flight of today's mission. Q: How many D.F.W. C.V bombers do you see? (They are all fully in the picture).
  5. Okay, I understand now. Well, I don't wear such glasses, but I can say, that during the first missions I flew, I felt quite uncomfortable with all the view changing of TIR. It took me some time to get used to it. It might feel better in a "heavy" energy fighter like the Albatros or the SPAD. In the very agile planes, it was worst for me - too much movement.
  6. Yeah, well, how could I overlook you, olde chap!? I must have moved you up and down the north sea a dozen times by now in my helpless attempts to place more Englishmen on your beautiful island!
  7. Over50, the head movement required for a check-six is set up by "true head angle", I think. You can reduce or increase the "true head angle" curve in the diagram to get it right (by moving the dots further out or in; not up and down). I am not sure right now, but changing "Speed" should not change that curve. I'll check it.
  8. OFF Pilot Stary wrote a message to me; his name was missing on the Europe map. Hotness was another simmer, who was missing at some point. I don't know, what mistake I have made, but there may be more missing names. Please check, everyone, if you are still on it. Please don't write positive answers, or I'll be flooded. Only if you are missing, send me a PM with name and hometown and country/state. Thanks! For all, who don't know the maps yet: they are in the "sticky threads" above; the thread is called OFF Forum Pilots Maps.
  9. 12o'clockhigh, - the claims should NEVER contain a semicolon, cause the sim regards a semicolon as the end of it, and I had many rejections through that; but not anymore. Now I'm getting at least 2/3 accepted. I list ALL my wingmen as witnesses, separated by comma and space. If I had no wingmen near me at the time of the kills, there are no witnesses, and so no confirms! So it is very important to keep them near you (press wingman command "return"), or to follow them, when they get distracted. When a fight begins, you could mark a high opponent and press command "attack" - the wingies will remain higher then (as long as that opponent does). Work with the 4 commands - it helps. - When you are leader of B-flight, you can only hold your flight near you. If you want to stay close to A-flight, you need to follow them - whereever they go. They get distracted by other targets easily, and it's your decision to follow them, or to fullfill your mission task. Since the leader of A-flight is also the flight leader, there is nothing wrong in following him. That way, a hated ground attack may turn into a wonderful dogfight.
  10. Hellshade, please go to "downloads" right here, top of this forum page (under the "golden Fokker").
  11. Welllllll - on a woman, I prefer natural skin!
  12. Over50, depending on your graphic card, maybe you could fly the sim with graphic settings varied like this: aircraft: 5 terrain detail: 3 scenery detail: 2 effects detail: 5 (or lower) clouds: 5 (or lower) Clouds don't seem to eat frames. It seems mainly the trees density in "Workshop", maybe the shadows, and "Scenery detail" slider. Duce could be right there - a lower resolution might help, too.
  13. Have the same problem. My ATI setting for Vertical Refresh is "Always on", but I still have those jaggies. Try reducing "Scenery detail", Over50, and the trees in "workshop"; and maybe shadows "off". But if anyone has any idea, whatelse causes those jaggies, you're welcome.
  14. UncleAl: ...with the same token, I always encounter a mine feild with my model "T." Still today, I do wish I knew why ? Driving off-road is not allowed in Europe.
  15. Aahhhmmm - I don't know... maybe I should have thought twice, before I started this thread. I LOVE trees, and I like dogs, and I hate flamethrowers... Oh lord, you must have had a bad migraine, when you created man...
  16. Not sure, but I often had this to happen: I started the sim, went through the briefing, and when I clicked "go to field", I was thrown back to the briefing. The reason was always, that the resolution had, for some strange reason, switched to 800 x 600, or another res I didn't have. A strange glitch, known to the devs. And to make that impossible, I have ticked those resolutions I don't use with my screen. Not sure if it does anything, but so far, it didn't happen again.
  17. This seems to be a SPAD in the "Vanilla Cream" colour like in my link I posted above: And another beautiful colouring, taken from Hartmut Seidel's "Airventure" website:
  18. Hey, now I can see some detail! (Great job, Mike!) But it looks like you have also dug in your starbord lower wingtip before? Hey, those wipe-out-chalklines on the rudder...! I'll think of something similar; I had it on an earlier D.II, but right now, I had forgotten.
  19. Thanks a lot, Creaghorn! Do I just overwrite your previous sounds with the new ones? No need to remove them first?
  20. Hihi - I got "The Craziest Field Crashers!" under your link, appraiserfl Some are quite sexy!!!
  21. Looking very impressive, Mike - but after checking the "K vs C" thread, it seems it is already shot up by a wingman?
  22. tofke, I am using an ATI 4870 graphic card, and these settings. The orange marked ones in the "Overrides" are of importance, but all in all, there are different setups of users, which seem to bring the same qualities. It may well be, that the modern graphic cards don't use much of the settings. But to show just what I have set:
  23. Which SPAD is it - I searched them for this camo pattern. Or is it a different graphic setting? It looks less green, less red-brown somehow - more pastell.
  24. Yes, I copied the emblem right out of the SPAD Esc.48 picture. I did not do the cream coloured airframe, but there are 1917 SPADs without camo pattern; they are just sand; they will provide you with a good basis to be changed into cream. Saw your SPAD in the screenshots; it looks great altogether!
  25. It looks great! The camo pattern is almost like an American Marines combat dress camo from today's forces. The checker pattern is phantastic! Hats off!
