Followed the stickys and installed OFF in my new rig. The campaigns work fine,but the Quick combat is a different animal. It gives an error MSG about the map lines in 1917 and to Repair OFF. I run OFF Repair and it states that cannot repair and recommends re installation. I am starting to dislike windows 7. Thanks

The graphics look great except for the gunfire/tracers, but thats what a modder is for.

I got the New Rig up and Running,But I cant figure out How to upload print Scrn to The forum using Windows 7 ? Any one knows how that operating system works ? Thanks, Rick

Just my 2 cents, I agree with my fellow forum members about OFF and the developers. There are a number of reasons to buy most have already been memtioned. One reason I took into consideration was that the developers are active in the the game to add to the quality of the game. A second reason is the Forum members advice ,well wishs, and their Mods to the game. On another subect, P-4 is still down the road and you would me missing out on an great game.

Captialism works that way. I replaced a oil pan drain plug ( a large bolt and washer) in the wifes Honda. They pay 3 cents for it to be made. I pay eight dollars for it. they control price and product. If I would have asked why so much money for a different size bolt, they would have said ( and I have heard it before) " Its just business ". i t

Just my 2 cents fellas: New Egg is a good place to look for New parts for a rig, They do have off and on combo deals. My old system was a single core and it ran off fine but frame rates are low.but when adding the expansion pack it didnt run at all. I am puttin together a new rig and found that you dont need the newest bell and whistle to make off run good. You can look around at reconditioned computers ( for a good size case cheap) then put new guts in. An Althlon gpu + a GTX 460 card should be good ( as Parky stated ) or as Lewie stated the Nvida 250 card would work decent frame rates ( both are good Bang for the Buck or Pound or Franc.) U can check GPU.com for comparisons of Graphics Cards. What I dont understand is why no one uses : Used computer parts to upgrade rigs? For example: When upgrading to a 5770 card there must have been used 4770 cards out there ? In computer Shops ? But they only seem to carry New 4770 cards. Funny

How often do you do it? I do it as often as I can. I love to do it. (on the serious side Once a day. 1 mission, sometimes 2 on a weekend and yes I do have too much time on my hands.

How do I fly OFF ? Carefully

Bored with OFF ? I fly Dead is Dead and last 3-4 missions then its crash and burn so switch back to less demanding settings and its Fun Time.
