Oh, how I agree with you Widowmaker on that! FSX at the moment is the very best non combat sim for me too, good framerates, HD landscapes and environment, complicated aircrafts, just wonderful!

Well, it seems to be the norm nowadays with such games, you only buy a beta! I became a lot more careful before buying, after the fiascos of Silent Hunter mostly, but also from games I thankfully didn't bought, although I wanted to, like Mafia 2. I always read the Forums first, for a month or so, and see what other players say about it. If the issues aren't solved in a month, then I forget about the game. I will be aware of it again when I see it with discount somewhere, like Olham found the Fallout 3! I found out that, if you wait for 2-3 years once, then you start getting a continuous flow of games again, only discounted! I've done that, I know!

I use the Nvidia plugin for Photoshop, works great!

For a starter, try the 1/48 Eduard models, good detail but relatively simple to do, well, if an WWI airplane can be simple. There's the old Revell 1/72 series of course, got them all, pretty good small models, but they show their age of course. The best of the best is of course the 1/32 Wingnuts and Wings models, amazing detail, big and really only for experienced modelers. If I'm allowed to give some advice, start small and simple and build your way up. Of course, craftsmanship is different from one person to the other but WWI models have their own special problems, like alignment and cables.

The Messerschmidt looks like a K model with the late Erla haube, not sure about the Soviet plane. As for the American one, looks like an A7 Corsair to me but I could be wrong.

I think JustFlight is going to release Cliffs of Dover at 31 of March as a download, not sure for a boxed version.

I think I am going to try this Fallout 3, at least as soon as I will reinstall my rig to my new home and get online. After that, I think I'm going to get me Shogun Total War 2 and IL 2: Cliffs of Dover and then Fallout 3 comes in! Thanks Olham for the tip, I'll try to find it ASAP.

I don't think that journalism is all that free in Germany! Surely is a lot better than North Korea and the U.S. but lots of things are silenced here too, specially when it comes on German money, recent examples the Deutsche Bank involvement at the US crisis or the Siemens involvement at Greece's affairs. Of course, if someone already knew, could make something between the lines but almost nothing ever really said. I don't want to say here that Germany is better or worse than anyone else, I just say that it's not that good either. It's the same "we are better than everyone" attitude as in every other country of the world.

This seems a great offer Olham! Since I'm also interested at Fallout 3 but also affected by this censorship, would you mind sharing where you got that offer? If this is better than Stalker then it's surely fun!

I only installed FSX twice, both under Win XP, a rig similar to your previous one. Never used Win 7, so I'm no help either but I can suggest that you try your luck over at AVSIM forum, some guys over there are really into it.

While this was the main opinion here in Germany, everybody was just forgetting Spain or at least treated Spain as just another loser. The Germans seem to have a habit on this, after their first victory they think the´re already champions, and that not only at football. Reality comes always to prove otherwise. I don´t want to sound bitter but I don´t like this kind of treatment either. It almost reach arrogance levels. As for the hate, no, I think Germans hate themselves for the past more than anyone else hates them. But maybe they´re a bit jealous of the Dutch, so small and yet a world power then, a queen and coffee shops all over!! What do you mean Olham?? Hi everybody again, just a few days ago I installed OS4 at my iPhone 3Gs and also the Apple iBook app. Looked around a bit, lots of free titles to read, specially classics, and with them I also found the "Rote Kampfflieger" from Manfred von Richthofen. It's totally free, in German, published in 1917 and digitally reworked in 2008. For whoever owns an iPhone or iPad, I think it's a good offer. itifonhom
