When you press Ctrl-D inside the game and you get that information text up in the center of the screen there are three different fps readouts. What are they showing for you when you get stutter like this?

So i bought the Gigabyte GTX470 SOC and it is a beast. I run everything on unlimited and high in SF2. 60 fps constantly. Well now to my issue. As usual with a new card i check all the temps and so on to see that they are inside the safe zones. In case of a bad card. In GPU-Z i get two different gpu temps. One of them is a couple of degrees lower. As far as i know the 470 is a single gpu card so what is the other reading?? Thank you!

Thank you for the reply. I was starting to think nobody used a seperate sound card =) I dont really know much about sound cards. Is there some keywords i should search for when looking if the digital sound processing is done on the card?? Ive read some reviews on the card but they dont mention anything about that. Thank you.

I never really used a seperate soundcard. I was always happy with the built in one. I am upgrading my computer with a new PSU and a GTX470 SOC and thought why not try out a soundcard. People that use them speak highly of them so i decided to get a Asus Xonar D1. Does anyone of you guys own one? How is the sound? Is it much better than for example integrated solutions? Thank you.

I find it funny how in movies we always win. Think about it. There is a race of beeings capable of actually crossing the distances between stars and maybe galaxies to get to us. They are thousands if maybe not millions of years ahead of us in everything. We would not stand a chance. Then again i dont really belive they would invade us. Why invade a planet when there are countless planets with plenty of resources. Much more efficient than wiping out us puny humans first then takeing the planet. Kinda doesnt make any sense when you think about it.

I was talking about IL2 with my friend today. I used to play IL2 Sturmovik alot but kinda lost interest. And then he told me i should buy Pacifict Fighters and Forgotten Battles because they have great dynamic campaigns.. I always thought these games came with regular missions just like in IL2 and lockon for example. Do they really have dynamic campaigns and if so, how good are they?? Thanx

Are you suprised JediMaster? People like us are a rare thing. "Simmers" are a dying bunch it seems. I am gratefull that there are people like TK and the guys at DCS who are still making these kind of games even though the market is small. But we sure are a loyal bunch
