  1. More fun stuff regarding weapons and some more work. There are two sets of internal bays on the F-103 as modeled. The first set is actually controlled by the player, i.e. manual bomb bay doors which open to reveal rocket launchers (AA) and Falcon missiles. The other set are automatic opening and closing Plus some limited panel work and the view from the current cockpit.
  2. Extract this from the 7z file (you'll need 7z for the majority of the mods here anyways) and put this file in your Flight in the User/Saved Games/Thirdwire/SF2Game/Flight folder. I have it set pretty high which allows me what you're looking for as obviously the default is horrible. The setting you're editing is [MapSettings] and it takes some tweaking but as said these values are what I like. FLIGHTENGINE.7z

  4. Nope, the F-103 Thunderwarrior that was a proposal in the late 50s-early 60s but obviously never made it into production.
  5. Random choice and something simple to skin up for the project. That and the years that FC has the plane fits into the time frame of the Red Devils. Pure coinkeydink.
  6. It's not bad so far, just not my flavor as right now the FM is "flyable" able to reach Mach 3 on sustained burner (see SF2 screenshot thread) and in my mind goofy looking. FC wanted an "operational" one as it never made it past the prototype stage so I settled with this version for now. Next batch of WIP photos I'll show the gimmicky stuff which is actually pretty cool. But right now the only external ordnance are the tanks.

  13. Reduce the number of "SamLauncher" notations on the map _targets.ini file. Besides the SA-6 isn't very difficult to kill. Just kill the radar and you're set and use a jammer...

  19. @daddyairplanes, it's VFA-25 "Fist of the Fleet" from an upcoming project that's been on my HD for a long time. @Stary.. When SidDogg mentioned the Kosovo terrain I almost loaded my VFA-163 skin so I could go off mission, get shot down and then trapse around the Balkans looking for my ejection seat with the video disk :D

  21. Well I think I can relate to that with the Super Hornet Packsge. With all these merged installs and me with lil old SF2E, my focus is mainly on that game, but easily usable in a merged or non-merged install. But that's just as far as it goes with that. To me it seems he's not trying to get too wrapped up in supporting the mod community to the extent of trying to do everything for us. Because he's got a lot of other things to worry about, and let the modders do what they do using his core values, and letting us experiment which in all honesty is why I enjoyed LOMAC for it's fedelity, but in the end the lack of mod capability let me get tired of it. But as other people have said, the bugs are major yes, but I'm still flying around, after reading some fixes so I'm not lost on the TW sims, just hoping for a better patch.
  22. General setting, you can apply it to any aircraft. And SidDogg... "Conversion" is an understatement. Looks nice but needs to be honestly redone and if I had teh skillz I would...
