I wouldn't change the CG, as that would just change the handling characteristics. I think changes in the cockpit.ini and the crew positions in the data.ini would be applicable.

Quick correction regarding the Fox Snooze article.... only 1 pilot died in the P-51 crash.

This from my AVWeb Mailing: Two P-51 Mustangs collided on the south end of the north/south runway at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wis., on Friday at 3:17 p.m., killing the sole-occupant pilot of one airplane and injuring the sole occupant of the other craft. The two warbirds were participating in the daily Showcase Flights at EAA when they apparently came into contact with each other and crashed. At press time, the FAA and NTSB were on the scene of the accident and had already begun their investigation. Stay tuned to AVweb for more on this breaking story.

For more information on the captured B-17, look for a book called 'strangers in a strange land' I think squadron/signal produced it. It's been several years since I last looked at it. An excellent example of something being copied rivet for rivet, take the TU-4/B-29...the Soviets even copied a battle damage patch.
