  1. You're right, but then when I fly to other terrain (especially in Vietnam) with people shooting SAM at me, everything I learn at the range becomes useless What I was wondering was whether it was possible to define a group of objects as target, instead of just one. A group of fuel tanks, or barracks... For example: if there are 20 barracks and I hit two or three next to what the game considers the ONLY objective, it would be nice if the mission was considered accomplished...
  2. Hi everyone, I do like strike missions but I have to be honest: I'm not so skilled in bombing without the help of CCIP (or using LGBs)... The bombs often fall too far or too short and I haven't yet mastered an effective technique to hit the target. So I wondered if it's possible to "expand" the target area on the map and have a Mission accomplished. RTB message even if you don't hit THAT single fuel tank or barracks, but the larger area that contains the target. Like what happens in other simulators or, I guess, in real combat mission. Thank you
  3. Hi everyone, almost solved... I noticed that somehow the Mue's z-buffer offset shaders (https://combatace.com/forums/topic/85970-shimmering-tods-and-target-objects/#comment-692525) are conflicting with something. I removed them from every terrain folder and now I have no more CTDs. It's strange however, because in other installations (Vietnam, Israel, North Atlantic, etc.) everything works with no issues. Anyway, thanks everyone for the help.
  4. Ouch... ALL the aircraft... I will try with a few, to test. Thanks
  5. Hi Wilches, in which file can I find that string?
  6. Hi EricJ, I don't think it could be a Windows update because all the other installations are working properly (Vietnam + Air & Ground War Exp. Pack; Odyssey Dawn; Desert Storm...). Only SF2 Europe...
  7. I can't figure out what is happening: my SF2 Europe installation suddenly started having CTDs at 100% loading or at the start of the mission. This happens with all planes and all terrain. I tried removing some terrain and leaving only GermanyCE, but nothing changed. It's heavily modified with NATO Fighters 5 and other stuff, but so far everything has worked with no issue. Is there any way to track down what the various mission loading % correspond to? Maybe I can figure out where to look... Thank you
  8. I could make some graphic proposals once you've decided, if you agree.
  9. I thought of some ways, let's see if you like them. They go in order from the lowest level onwards. 1 - Flight Journey 1 Hangar - Getting ready for takeoff. Learning, testing, getting familiar. 2 Takeoff - First flights completed. Finding your balance in the skies. 3 Cruise - Steady, reliable, and confident. Sharing experience with others. 4 Navigator - Guiding routes, solving problems, helping fellow pilots. 5 Commander - Leading discussions and missions. Trusted voice in the cockpit. 6 Flight Architect - Designing experiences and shaping the future of flight. 2 - Evolution 1 Penguin - He doesn't fly, but he dreams of the sky. 2 Glider - Finding lift, learning finesse, feeling the air. 3 Prop - Solid pilot with growing skill and control. 4 Jet - Fast, confident, sharp. Master of systems and flight. 5 Mach - Pushing realism, limits, and innovation in simulation. 6 Voyager - Beyond flight. Exploring new frontiers of virtual skies. 3 - Aviators’ Hall of Fame 1 Wright bros. - First in flight. Learning the basics, taking your first lift. 2 Lindbergh - Courageous solo flights, exploring new horizons with determination. 3 Earhart - Bold and innovative, pushing boundaries and inspiring fellow pilots. 4 Yeager - Breaking sound barriers; mastering speed, precision, and skill. 5 Armstrong - Explorer of new frontiers; from supersonic flight to the Moon. 6 Kelly Johnson - Legendary aircraft designer; shaping the future of flight and innovation.
    Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful.
  10. This is the link: but now everything is working fine. I've checked a few files and looks ok now. Thanks
  11. I tried to download a file for checking, after logout/close/open/login and in the download page I got this message: There's something I'm missing?
  12. Good news. I was planning on paying a Choice Membership subscription for a month. I'll probably do it anyway, to help. Thank you very much Erik.
  13. I could try to make one for you, a numerical set and an alphabetical one, starting from that image. They probably won't be exact, but I'll try to make them as similar as possible.
  14. I'm using AITrack + OpenTrack and it's pretty good. Totally free, you only need a decent webcam and a well lit room.
  15. Same problem with an A-1H in a random generated mission, along with aircraft exploding at start or CTD during an F-105 YAP mission. Otherwise a great number of beautiful eye candy, especially on carriers.
  16. Awesome. It's incredible the effort you put into making cockpits. I look forward for the releases. Thanks
  17. Thanks to you for your great work. Your cockpits take the quality of SF2 to the next level.
  18. @ravenclaw_007 in F-4D_67_DATA.ini in the [DetectSystem] section, I found that HasRWR=FALSE must be setting on TRUE. Now it works. I found the same in F-4D_71_DATA.ini so I checked the stock [...]_DATA.ini and it's set on TRUE.
  19. @ravenclaw_007 tested again the F-4D_67 and the F-4D_78 cockpits together in the same terrains: the 67 still doesn’t work, the 78 works perfectly.
  20. Tested again in Rends GermanyCE terrain, North Vietnam with A&G War Expansion Pack with Green Hell 3.5 and Menrva Italy 63-91 and Sweden/Baltic Rim 52-94. It doesn't work in any of them. The old cockpit (the stock one) is working instead.
