  1. Well it wasn't supposed to be advertising for the store it just turned into that. I made some critical mistakes and have learned from those mistakes. But doing this has also taught me alot. As for famous people well if you watch Evike.com TV then Matt is somewhat a famous dude... keyword somewhat. And speaking of advertising I'm going to be PMing a few members here at CombatACE and see if we can't get a little something something put together to let folks know what we're about.
  2. AWESOME! Nice photos too!
  3. The first 30 seconds was me. I've used various types of software that I never used before and edited the hell out the video so it could work seemlessly. The rest was them. All I did was email them some questions and they sent me the video. Right now I'm working on the F-16 and F-14 flightline videos for Combat ACE. Still wet behind the ears and greener than a grasshopper when it comes to video work too. My saving grace is that in high school I got to work with some pretty expensive equipment when it came to video production. However I wouldn't mind doing this for living. It's kind of a hobby i'm enjoying mainly audio work. The store I'm working for is allowing me to make an audio production for them.
  4. Found this old project I did.
  5. I thought Daphny was dude's girl ... the two always pair up together ...
  6. Monkey Island? That was funny. But to answer the question. Silent Hunter ... by default for me because that is only Navl Sim game I've ever played. What I would really really really really really really really like to play is a game like Battlestations Midway but for the modern navy. People think it would be too easy to just hit a button and launch a missile. But I think there are more tactics involved. Not to mention the deployment of Marines and Navy Seals and subs doing covert ops ... hell or just doing covert ops. But yeah Silent Hunter Wolves of the Paciific for me. I'ld love to more sims that would allow one to be hands on.
  7. Totally awesome and totally generous ... let's see as for answer I'm going to use a line from the first RPG I ever played and enjoyed. "I'm here to kick ass and chew bubble gum .... lucky for you I still have a piece." Ah I love that line ... after you leveled up no one wanted to fight you anymore...
  8. I think migbuster already does the giveaways from time to time for subscribers. I might be wrong.
  9. Aw thank you Eric. Even though you don't want me to feel bad I do. But I'll try not too. *clears throat* If you like writing and can spare ten minutes you can PM me about how 800 words can really help this site out. You don't have to spend a dime ...just give a little time. yeah that was a little corny ... but its true.

    Hey Jarhead1

Don't forget you can always join the writing team to produce new content... speaking of I have some new content I'm editing and fine tuning and getting ready for your viewing pleasure. And to Jarhead I too tip my hat to you and thank you for your great act of kindness. I know most of you, as mentioned before, like this site. I mean we have a lot of people here so it’s obvious. And some of you probably feel like me. I want to help out money wise but I can barely pay my own bills. And it hurts because you love this place and there isn't a thing you can do. But believe me and the others when we say that just showing up, stopping by the pub and seeing what's going on. Being active and communicating with people can go a very long way. Once again thank you Jarhead and congrats on your lifetime membership.
  11. Duke Nukem zero hour was the only game I played where you could actually blow a hole in someone's chest.
  12. Thanks guys. Yeah everyday is a treasure hunt ... I even found an aircraft carrier pencil sharpener. Found some other cool today too like an old Atari 2900. I see it and say my ohhs and ahhs and then sell it.
  13. Thank you. I was down to my last bit of funds. Only had enough cash for one more mortage payment. So this job happened just in time and I love it. I'm still able to do my online projects too.
  14. So I've been looking for work for a while now and followed up on a classified for Habitat for Humanity Restore. i walked in dropped off my resume, the lady thought she knew me but we don't know each other. We talked for two hours. She tells me to come back in a couple of hours and talk to the director. So I did. And he never said if I had the job or not. He just say stop by Tuesday we'll see how it works. Well that was ten days ago and they're already talking about me running the show.... a weird feeling this is. It's a cool job and I like it, I like the people, and the customers everyone is down to earth and laidback. Basically I'm living American Pickers and Pawn Stars. As in there are all kinds of things that either go out to pick up or things that are brought in. Even saw some old flight sims today. iF-22 Jane's IAF Jane's Fighter Anthology Duel Fighters Pretty cool seeing those that an old Atari 2900. So if you guys have anything in particular that you're looking for I'll put it on my BOLO list and PM you if I find something. If any military artwork comes in namely aviation stuff I'll hold to the side and you guys take a gandar at it..
  15. Damn that's some accurate information comming from her best friends sisters boyfriends friend who wait ... shit.
  16. Good lists ... I don't have. Haven't touched an FPS game since .... oh wait I forgot about Fallout NV (Extremely Over the top heavily modded by the way) Fallout 3 (Heavily modded) Battlefield Bad Company Battlefield 2 Battlefield DC *I think that was a mod* Battlefield 1941 Hellsgate (depends on what class you were I guess) Yeah that's it. I mainly flight sim and play Mass Effect Series. No decent mech games (single player) for PC these days.
  17. Say uh Dave ... I've been wanting to get some extra stuff too. Uh Mind if I bag grocies with you?
  18. That's some serious hard work and dedication. Nice job.
  19. That was beautiful. Brought a little tear to my eye Amazing find. It would be cool if some of those could be restored. Awesome planes don't deserve to wither away like that. They are monuments to the people who designed them, built them, flew and maintained them.
  20. Since pictures say a thousand words .... mod development is awesome. In case you don't know ... AC-130 mod for Fallout New Vegas. Dude is working UV model for the plane. So its a B-29 model floating up there.
  21. Either that or instead of paying himself paying others in his company 400 man hours at a rate of $25/hr per person... not to mention the bills for the building etc etc. Either way that does explain why it could cost them that much to make a plane.
  22. Coda ... wow. Good find sir.
  23. Good games ... good times ... good times...
  24. *clears throught* I got this in my closet... let me check it ... yep still works.
