Dunno if anyone else is having problems with this, but the quite buttons seem to not be working. I've turned cookies off in firefox, but I did turn them on and it still didn't work.

Well, sure, new tech is always a waste of money when it first comes out. That's just the cycle of hardware :) It will eventually be a necessity...

Sounds like a great system there, Fates. I'd have to agree with BUFF, the nForce4 boards have won this round as the best board, IMO. I like the ActiveArmor, myself. I've got an MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum in my comp, and I love it. I strongly suggest the Neo4's. I don't think you'd have a problem fitting a XP-120 on them, either.

I'd go for a sexy new vid card over a new processor ;) I lvoe my 6800GT... a 6600GT would really make your system a lot better, provided you have AGP (I think you said you did, I'm too lazy to go looking again :))

What sim are you talking about, and where are you downloading the file from?

Huh... those are some impressive results there. Better than the 2.6 Intel! I'm probably thinking of the Barton 2500, but I thought they were more competitve with the 1.8-2 GHz Intels. Guess a good 200 MHz jump from default gives a good response!

Huh... I wonder how that will tie into the the first game. At the end, you see Jack leaving the island... So why did he come back? I hope they have a good story with it. I do like the idea of being able to set traps. And it looks like this time, you can actually sneak right up behind the mercs, that was one of the few things I didn't like about FarCry. Makes that very able machette rather useless. Oh well, it does look good. Can't wait to see what it's like! Oh, and don't get me wrong, I LOVE FarCry. Probably the greatest game I've played in a good long time.

Anyone know what happened to the Hornet?

I've only tried the demo, so you can take my comments with a grain of salt. I thought it was good, but nothing special. It still seemed scripted to me. I dont' think I can really explain, but it just felt a little... cramped. It was definatly different in a good way, though. Good idea, just not tops. I'd like to see if someone can take this idea and create something great from it.

I would suggest: Radeon 9800Pro - Sapphire - $142 GeForce 6600GT - XFX - $154 (mail-in rebate), eVGA - $163 (mail-in rebate) GeForce 6800 - XFX - $204 (mail-in rebate), eVGA - $199 (mail-in rebate) I'm also assuming your looking for AGP and not PCIe, and this is why you don't see any X700s on there (on par with the 6600 GT). If not, correct me, and I'll find some other cards for ya. On these cards, it all depends on how much you want to spend. I would, of course recommend the 6800. However, if you don't want to spend that much, the 6600GT would be my next choice. Personally, I've got a 6800GT and it is awesome. Whatever you decide though, you'll probably be happy with any of these cards. They will all perform much better than what you've got now. EDIT: Some other stuff I thought about. All of the cards are linked are 128 Mb. If you can find the same cards with 256, and it's still in your price range, that is another option. Second, always shop around before buying. Lots of online stores have specials and such going on. My personal favorites are NewEgg and ZipZoomFly (very fast (and free: ) shipping!). However, it doesn't seem your from the USA, so look for a reputable company in your area. Have fun with your research!
